Position Overview:
As an Associate Veterinarian at Venetian Pet Hospital, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse caseload and collaborate with a skilled team of veterinary professionals. We offer the potential for surgical mentorship, providing a platform for enhancing your surgical skills under the guidance of experienced professionals. We prioritize a healthy work-life balance, offering a four-day work week from 9 am to 5 pm, and provide a competitive compensation package to attract the best talent.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough examinations and provide comprehensive veterinary care to a variety of small animals.
- Perform surgical procedures with precision and efficiency, with the potential for surgical mentorship and skill enhancement.
- Communicate effectively with clients, providing clear explanations of diagnoses and treatment plans.
- Collaborate with fellow team members to ensure the highest standards of patient care.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Base salary of $175,000 for the first year or 21% production (whichever is higher).
- Full benefits package, including health insurance, dental, and vision coverage.
- All professional licenses paid for by the hospital.
- Generous 3 weeks of paid time off (PTO) to support work-life balance.
- 401(K) with a 4% match to support your financial goals.
- Possibility for relocation costs to be covered.
- Signing bonus of $30,000 with a one-year contract.

Work Schedule:

Qualifications:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution.
- California State Veterinary License in good standing.
