Job Description
As a Supply Planner, you will develop and maintain the production plan, purchase plan, and deployment of global inventory to meet the demand forecast for a portfolio of IDEXX diagnostics kits. You'll need to make high-quality, timely decisions even in times of uncertainty/ambiguity. You will drive efficiencies and manage risk to meet aggressive availability and inventory targets. The ideal candidate operates with a strategic, global, and innovative mindset and drives engagement and consensus through articulate, credible communication and networking. What you can expect in this role Use SAP to maintain and execute supply/demand plans and manage global inventory. Maintain SAP planning parameters and master-data for product portfolio to ensure accurate, reliable system-generated planning signals. Accountable to meet KPI targets such as availability, delivery, production, scrap, etc. Serve as liaison between operations, marketing, commercial, and finance organizations, fostering a highly-collaborative, cross-functional environment. Communicate risks to stakeholders, recommend solutions, create alignment, and support resolutions. Lead, participate, and support various meetings and business processes including Sales & Operations Planning and Integrated Business Planning. Develop, continually learn, grow and strengthen individual capabilities, staying current with industry best practices. What you will need to succeed Bachelors' degree in supply chain management, a technical discipline, or a related field. APICS/ASCM or ISM certification is preferred. 5+ years of supply chain experience. Strong communication skills, ability to influence across groups, and create alignment. Excellent analysis and data-driven decision-making skills. Strong knowledge of SAP/MRP systems, Microsoft Excel, and other technology platforms. Adept in identifying and implementing process improvements and integrating Lean methodologies. Desire for continuous learning, embracing a growth mindset, and routinely challenging yourself.
