(Archived) Feed Additive Sales Representative - KS, TX, MO

For more than 30 years of experience in feed additives and fertilizers, JH Biotech, Inc. aligns its research and development efforts to the production of safe feed, healthy animals and to a wholesome environment.

SUMMARY
The Animal Nutrition Sales Representative will work directly with distributors, feed mills, nutritionists and farmers to sell feed additives. A solid understanding of animal nutrition is expected. The candidate should be proactive and be able to execute and implement sales plans for the targeted territory.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Identify and contact prospective customers to generate sales and increase market share.
• Introduce and present products through meetings, conferences, on farm discussions and other industry opportunities.
• Dig and understand potential customers’ needs and fulfill them with nutritional advices, products and services.
• Evaluate feeding programs for farmers and suggest and assist them on nutritional programs.
• Organize and present technical product information to key decision makers.
• Maintain a positive supplier-customer relationship and follow up on products, services, trials and improvements.
• Work with business development to develop and customize sales strategies.
• Report sales status and meet annual sales goal.
• Assist on related marketing and customer service activities.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
• B.S. or M.S. degree with a major in animal nutrition or animal science.
• Minimum of 2-year experience as animal nutritionist or sales representative of feed additives.
• Strong interpersonal and networking skills, and proven ability to sell are necessary.
• A valid driver’s license and good driving record are necessary.

Position opens in both Mc Queeney, TX and around Kansas City, KS.
