The AD / Sr. AD, Mental Health Marketing - Consumer Promotion will be accountable for developing and implementing patient/consumer and caregiver marketing strategy initiatives for the Schizophrenia Prescription Digital Therapeutic. The Associate Director will collaborate across all functions of our marketing team, compliance, legal, medicine, sales, training, agency partners and Global stakeholders. This role is based on-site at our Ridgefield, CT location with hybrid flexibility of 2-3 days per week on-site.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Creation and execution of pre-launch, launch, and post launch activities that are innovative and address the unique needs of a prescription digital therapeutic.
  • Champion the brand and become a subject matter expert in the product, technology, HUB/patient services offering, and patient/caregiver experience.
  • Development and implementation of patient/caregiver marketing plans, including strategy, positioning, messaging, and creative campaigns.
  • Ensures strategies and tactical plans for patient/consumer and caregivers are developed and executed in close partnership with HCP Marketing team, Patient Advocacy, Clinical Educators, HPRC, Global, and other key internal partners.
  • Partner with PR/Communications on external communication initiatives and campaigns.
  • Lead media and digital strategy for patient/consumer & caregivers.
  • Lead development of integrated and multi-channel DTC campaign.
  • Partners with Analytics & Insights to ensure the capturing of insight and learning to assess the effectiveness of our strategies and areas where the strategy needs to evolve.
  • Work productively with external agency partners, key internal stakeholders, and cross functional groups within the organization.
  • Manages Marketing budget, prioritizing initiatives based on impact/effort. Escalating and providing business case for budget needs accordingly.
  • Lead consumer & caregiver advisory boards and distill insights from it to evolve strategy.
  • Monitors and reports on progress of KPIs to Brand Marketing leadership and Global Leadership.
  • Participates in relevant scientific congresses and conferences to stay up to date with relevant literature.

Requirements

AD Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited institution required; MBA preferred.
  • Five-plus (5+) years of experience in the US pharmaceutical industry, including three (3) years US pharmaceutical marketing experience or other relevant experience; Specialty Marketing experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience working directly with digital partners to develop and execute initiatives strongly preferred (e.g. Google, third party media providers, social media community platforms, etc.)
  • Experience in guiding and integrating digital analytics and driving metrics based optimization strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated project management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budget and resources.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve results in a highly matrixed organization.
  • Job primarily is operational/tactical in nature but requiring a creative and innovative approach.
  • Has developed knowledge and skills in own discipline; still acquiring higher level skills; Works with moderate guidance in own department of knowledge.
  • History of successful performance.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Outlook and database applications.
  • Ability to travel (will include overnight travel).

  • At least 5 years of successful and progressive experience in Sales, Consumer Marketing, Digital Marketing
  • Strong learning agility and demonstrated success solving ambiguous business issues

  • Proficiency in core principles of brand management, including brand positioning, value proposition, segmentation, messaging, and investment optimization
  • Must be capable of managing and prioritizing multiple priorities and have excellent overall business acumen and strong analytical skills
  • Must demonstrate excellent leadership skills with the ability to work effectively evolving environment. Demonstrated ability to think strategically.

SR. AD Requirements:

  • B.A. or a B.S. degree is required and an MBA or an advanced degree is helpful, but not required.
  • At least 8 years of successful experience in US pharmaceutical industry, including at least 5 years of progressive experience in Sales, Marketing, Managed Care, Account Management, Thought Leader management or other relevant experience. Mental Health experience preferred.
  • Demonstrate ability to achieve results in a highly matrixed organization.
  • Must be capable of managing and prioritizing multiple priorities and have excellent overall business acumen.
  • Must demonstrate excellent leadership skills with the ability to work effectively evolving environment.
  • Interpersonal flexibility to effectively interact with a broad range of personnel, advanced communication, presentation, and facilitation skills are required.
  • Ability to travel at least 50% if the time including overnight stays and may include weekends.

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction.
  • Must be willing to take a drug test and post-offer physical (if required).
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
