Description: The purpose of this position is to support BIAH’s Customer Marketing in marketing efforts focused on the Customer and/or Client (pet owner) Journey & Experience. The person will be expected to set and execute marketing programs to maximize opportunities with both general pet vet hospital business and corporate account groups/buying groups with and our existing range of products. They will work closely with our Corporate Partnerships Team and their customers to identify new opportunities to leverage our strong presence in the Veterinary channel, increase sales revenue levels and account profitability. They may also work closely with Brand Marketing, Customer Experience and Field Sales Teams to identify new opportunities to leverage our strong presence in the Veterinary channel, increase sales revenue levels and account profitability. The role requires skills in brand/shopper marketing, building strong team dynamics, dealing with ambiguity, influencing a range of levels throughout the organization, and driving for results. Duties & Responsibilities: Formulate sales and marketing plans and associated tactics to maximize long term growth with vet hospitals and/or Corporate Partners Create and leverage new and existing programs and services that position our brands with quantifiable differences vs. competing products and companies Implement and execute effective sales and services strategies to ensure maximum share of the assigned strategic/key account’s spending on BIAH and comparable products and services Work with brand teams, sales and advertising agencies to communicate and leverage the differences with vet hospitals and/or national accounts Anticipate and act upon industry trends, market needs, and new and unique opportunities for business growth Communicate with internal stakeholders and external partners to produce effective and actionable programs to meet market needs Manage a DP/GP budget Contribute to the development and implementation of long range operating and business plans May develop strategies that are successful across the full path to prescription and purchase—inclusive of digital engagement (fully integrated vet channel planning & execution) May identify innovative ways to launch new items, grow our core, and leverage the scale of the portfolio by identifying client-based experiences and solutions that deliver joint value for the Vet Clinics and BIAH. Develop strong relationships with key internal stakeholders (Marketing, Sales, Customer Care, etc.) but also with external stakeholders Proactively work with the Director, Customer Marketing and/or Corporate Partnerships Directors to develop account strategies and plans that grow/defend BIAH business position May develop an extensive knowledge base of all assigned strategic/key accounts, including their business profile, key players, competition, business processes, culture, technology footprint, compelling events, political environment and strategies Attend and participate in key corporate partner meetings or customer related meetings Routinely discuss and communicate opportunity plan and strategy with Corporate Partnerships team and/or Brand Marketing Maintain an accurate and documented pipeline of opportunities within the Strategic Customer Business Plan and provide appropriate communication of such to BIAH management Continuously gather knowledge of competitors and how to effectively position BIAH solutions against them Provide periodic Strategic Customer Business Plan (SCBP) and Opportunity Management Plan (OMP) updates to strategic/key account team members Comply in a timely manner with all travel and expense policies Continue to build and grow personal knowledge of industry trends and BIAH product offerings, as well as your general business acumen Review, establish and implement a personal training plan to facilitate your ongoing growth and professional development at BIAH Completes all special projects as required by Company (i.e. mentoring, training, leadership of projects) Requirements: Bachelor's degree from and accredited institution required MBA preferred A minimum of ten (10) years of US marketing/brand/sales with proven experience within companion animal Health and/or CPG Industries Client facing experience preferred Proven communication, negotiation and presentation skills (verbal and written) Executive presence and the ability to interact effectively with senior leaders inside and outside the organization Ability to travel up to 50% or more (overnight travel required) Eligibility Requirements: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction. Must be willing to take a drug test and post-offer physical (if required). Must be 18 years of age or older.
