The Marketing Manager for Strategic Accounts is a pivotal role aligning Marketing strategies with the unique needs of Strategic Accounts (SAs) The ideal candidate for this role requires a delicate balance of strategic thinking, project management, tactical execution, and strong interpersonal skills.

Reports to: Market Director, PetCare
Location: Westlake Texas.

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as Marketing Liaison

  • Act as the primary contact between the Strategic Accounts (SA) team and marketing ensuring alignment on customer activation strategies

  • Work directly with relevant Strategic Account contacts (Marketing, Training, Home Delivery, etc.) to align on programs to ensure the execution ladders up to brand and account strategies

  • Attend Vetcove meetings, voicing Strategic Account marketing needs

  • Attend high-priority Strategic Account customer meetings to represent marketing and the initiatives this role is leading

  • Work with the Digital team to coordinate webinar follow-ups, customer journeys, and tasks within Comet.

  • Collaborate & develop corporate account initiatives focused on home delivery

Strategic Planning

  • Collaborate with the SA team to develop account-specific marketing plans that drive growth of Virbac brands within corporate clinics and shelters

  • Develop and implement Plan of Action (POA) strategies to be deployed by field teams in corporate clinics.

  • Annual Marketing Calendar: Develop a comprehensive calendar to align with SA goals.

  • Understand Marketing Development Funds (MDF) inclusive of tracking and utilization, with a focus on maximizing ROI.

Additional Considerations:

  • Project Management: Demonstrated strong project management skills, including planning, coordination, and timely delivery of cross-functional initiatives.

  • Data Analysis: Utilize data and analytics to measure the impact of marketing initiatives and make data-driven decisions.

  • Budget Management: Work within budget constraints to optimize resource allocation.

  • Relationship Building: Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, including the SAM/, corporate marketing, and agencies.

  • Adaptability: Stay updated on industry trends and be prepared to adapt to changing market conditions.

  • Communication Skills: Effectively communicate complex ideas to diverse audiences, both written and verbally.

  • Problem-Solving: Identify and address challenges proactively, finding creative solutions.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 4-6 years of Marketing experience with a B2B focus

  • Animal Health experience is valued but not required

  • Undergraduate degree required w/ MBA preferred

  • Role located in the Dallas-Fort Worth area (Westlake, TX). Must either be local to the DFW area or willing to relocate (relocation assistance may be available)

  • Hybrid work environment with requirement of 3 days in the office (Tues - Thur)

  • Work travel 10% - 15% but will vary throughout the year:
