Description: The Marketing Manager is responsible for assigned brand activities. This individual has the responsibility for providing operational and implementation of brand strategies as well as the execution of all 6Ps (Product, Price, Promotion, Placement, POP, Protocol) for the brand. This individual will manage brand messaging, internal and external communications including all marketing, advertising, product pricing and related trade and industry programs. They will be assisting the Sr. Associate Director on delivering the brand portfolio’s annual financial plan including topline sales, spending and profit contribution. Duties & Responsibilities: Responsible for the development, implementation and execution of strategic plans that optimize sales, market share and revenue growth for a brand or set of brands in the short and long term. Drive consistent execution of product strategies with internal and external cross functional teams. Provide high level analysis of potential business opportunities utilizing insights from market research, industry trends, competitive intelligence, and understanding of therapeutic areas for brand area. Actively pursues internal and external information and works in collaboration to make decisions that have broad impact. Develops customer/channel specific marketing strategies by leveraging knowledge of all customer marketing channels and co-promotion partners to add market and brand value. Optimizes the promotional mix for a brand based on allocated resources and recognizes the point of diminishing returns and redirects efforts when current approach in not achieving desired outcomes. Initiates projects/programs that produce favorable bottom line results while planning robust sales and product supply forecasts. Supports the day to day operations of the brand including forecasting, budget management, data and market share analysis. Serves as the Voice Of the Customer (VOC) by capturing the requirements/feedback from the customer (Veterinarians, Consumers) and deliver best-in-class programs that meet the customer’s needs/wants. Performs all Company business in accordance with all regulations (e.g. EEO, FDA, OSHA etc.) and Company policies and procedures. When violations are noted/observed they are to be immediately reported to management. Demonstrates high ethical and professional standards with all business contacts in order to main BIAH’s excellent reputation within the community. Marketing Manager Requirements: Bachelors degree from an accredited institution, preferably in Marketing or Business Administration, required, plus five to seven or more (5-7+) years of previous product marketing, field sales or relevant work experience. Three (3) of the mentioned years need to be in Marketing. Masters degree (e.g. MBA, MSc) preferred. Although the position does not require people leadership experience the prior experience in leading projects is preferred. Exhibit strong written & verbal communication skills along with excellent presentation, facilitation and interpersonal skills Demonstrated organization, planning & project management skills along with solid decision making & negotiation skills. Proven ability to work on multiple projects & prioritize effectively. Demonstrated strategic thinking, initiative, and creativity and proven track record for innovation. Show agility with a proven ability to develop and evolve strategic & tactical elements based on research data & industry trends. Demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills. Demonstrated ability to collaborate with stakeholders to deliver results in a highly matrixed organization. Entrepreneurial drive with proven track record of achieving financial and other quantitative goals. Demonstrated success working in a team environment. Requires understanding of the legal environment, risks, competitors and the National/Regional/Local market. Associate Director, Marketing Requirements: Bachelors degree from an accredited institution required, plus seven to ten (7-10) years or more of previous product marketing, field sales or relevant work experience. Five (5) of the mentioned years need to be in Marketing Master's degree preferred. Previous experience leading a larger scale business project including development & implementation of plan and metrics and achievement of goals Although the position does not require people leadership experience the prior experience in leading projects is preferred. Proven ability to work on multiple projects & prioritize effectively. Show agility with a proven ability to evolve strategic & tactical elements based on research, data & industry trends. Exhibit strong written & verbal communication skills along with excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to develop stakeholder relationships. Demonstrated organization, planning & project management skills along with solid decision making & negotiation skills. Demonstrated strategic thinking, initiative, and creativity and proven track record for innovation. Demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills. Demonstrated ability to mentor/lead other team members. Demonstrated ability to collaborate & influence cross functional stakeholders without direct authority; OR Demonstrated ability to collaborate and gain buy in from stakeholders to deliver results in a highly matrixed organization. Entrepreneurial drive with proven track record of exceeding goals; OR Entrepreneurial drive with proven track record of exceeding financial and other quantitative goals as well as qualitative goals. Eligibility Requirements: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction. Must be willing to take a drug test and post-offer physical (if required).
