Job Description

HUBBARD®, an Alltech® company, provides a full range of innovative, research-based animal feed and nutrition products. Our customers include meat, milk, and egg producers as well as those with specialty and companion animals. Our goal is to provide customers with products and solutions that will improve their profitability and competitive advantage, while reducing risk and simplifying their lives. We currently have an established sales territory available in the Northeast Region that is serviced from our Lancaster, PA and neighboring production facilities and are seeking qualified candidates for an Account Manager position.

This position will facilitate the sale of products through established dealer networks and producers. Account Managers are also accountable for growth in existing customer base, prospecting new accounts, developing and implementing sales plans and operating their territory within established travel and marketing expenses. Account Managers have the support and assistance of the Regional Sales Manager and Species Specialists to assist in the sales process and service after the sale.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years’ experience in Agriculture / Animal Nutrition sales, preferably commercial beef, swine and dairy related with knowledge, experience, and ability to sell and consult companion animal consumers as well. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding regarding all aspects related to livestock production/nutrition along with a degree in agricultural business, agricultural economics, or animal science. Qualified candidates will possess a valid driver’s license, exceptional time management skills and be able to problem solve and provide leadership to our dealers and their customers. Overnight travel is required on an occasional basis. Candidates must live within one hour of Lancaster, PA.
