eCommerce Key Account & Advertising Manager

Responsible for full management over assigned eCommerce accounts, 3P eMarketplace sponsored advertising, implementation of Key Account programs/promotions, P&L collaboration, strategic initiatives, sales targets, budgets, reporting on eCommerce trends/metrics, and all related eCommerce account projects. This position collaborates cross functionally with the existing eCommerce Team and all internal Business Unit Teams (Channel Management, Marketing, Customer Services, Logistics, Business Intelligence, Regulatory, Procurement, etc.).

Major Responsibilities

eCommerce Account Management & eCommerce Marketing/Advertising

  • Responsible for all activities related to assigned partnering eCommerce Retailers.
  • Responsible for Amazon Advertising Strategy - Collaborate with internal teams and 3P partners on eMarketplace advertising (PPC, DSP) and promotions to drive revenue and brand growth.
  • Monitor marketing initiatives, marketing calendars, promotional activities, publication requests, etc. from partnering eCommerce retailers.
  • Collaboration with Channel Management Team on company strategy and overall business.
  • Collaboration with existing eCommerce and Marketing Teams to ensure alignment with advertising, B2B growth, D2C launch, and other marketing/sales plans.
  • Sharing of marketing and SEO knowledge to assist partnering internet retailers with marketing strategies, campaigns, promotions, etc.
  • Creation and implementation of eCommerce Key Account business plans.
  • Management of search content with ongoing updates to ensure eMarketplaces are fully optimized to increase product ranking and conversion.
  • Explore new digital options, ads, sponsorships, etc. to increase overall digital brand footprint and build brand awareness on marketplaces.
  • Internet Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) monitoring and diverter tracking in collaboration with team.
  • Collaborate on digital marketing, blogs, educational articles, posts, etc. to include on social media, eCommerce websites, etc.
  • Routine meetings with Key and Major Accounts regarding monthly/quarterly business updates, target tracking, marketing initiatives, campaign results, etc.
  • Schedule and manage trainings with eCommerce Key Accounts regarding new product additions, focus products promotions, technical services, etc.


  • Compiles and maintains all required paperwork, records, documents, etc. related to assigned external accounts and internal business dealings.
  • Supports company’s vision, mission, and demonstrates company’s values in all professional activities.
  • Completion of monthly analytical summaries related to eCommerce marketplace advertising results, eCommerce promotional campaigns and brand content/optimization updates.
  • All other duties as requested by Management.

Position Requirements:

Formal Education and Certification

  • Four-year college degree from an accredited institution.
  • Preferred eCommerce, business, marketing, or advertising focus.

Knowledge, Experience and Required Skills

  • Experience and expertise with B2B and/or D2C eCommerce sales.
  • Experience and expertise with 3P sponsored advertising (Amazon, Walmart, etc.).
  • Experience and expertise with eMarketplace brand optimization.
  • Experience with Retail Link and/or Amazon Vendor Central (and other retailer vendor portals).
  • Experience with digital marketing, advertising, SEO, PPC, and social media advertising.
  • Direct knowledge regarding MAP and experience in MAP implementation.
  • Knowledge of bulk editing, multi-attribution modeling, bid management, Google ad-words, etc.
  • Demonstrated success in building eCommerce brands and targeted eCommerce promotions.

  • Effective social skills and strong written/verbal communication.
  • Self-motivated, results driven, and ever evolving mindset regarding eCommerce advancements, omnichannel businesses, marketing, and analytics.
  • Collaborative, welcoming and able to work well in both a team and individual setting.
  • Technologically savvy and very proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PPT, Teams).
  • Demonstrated analytical skills, comfortable with public speaking and effective at remote presenting.
