Job Description

*Position can be largely remote or in our Boston area offices/laboratory*

Responsibilities:

  • The overall role is to provide high level operational and administrative support to Invetx’s leadership team to ensure smooth business operations and R&D activities
  • Manage day-to-day operational and administrative tasks including but not limited to office communications, project support, contracts management, regular meeting/discussion coordination so that project and corporate objectives are effectively planned, coordinated and delivered to schedule and budget
  • Work with the CEO, CSO, CDO and other executive team members to manage all operational aspects of the organization
  • Manage communications and support collaborations with external partners
  • Maintain fully integrated project timelines and budgets including invoice process management
  • Organize and facilitate team meetings, prepare agendas and minutes and follow-up action plans and collaborative decision making
  • Develop and manage a document management and archiving solution to meet corporate and regulatory needs
  • Assist in the development and management of Standard Operating Procedures
  • Work with the executive team to prepare for meetings of the Board of Directors, the Scientific Advisory Board, and external stakeholders
  • Assist in developing and implementing corporate communication strategies
  • Liaise with outside legal counsel to ensure timely review and approval of service agreements with external partners, and other legal documents
  • Provides general administrative duties, project support, special events and
    activities as requested
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in a scientific discipline with 3-5 years of project coordination or R&D administrative support experience in a biotechnology and/or pharmaceutical industry setting. 10+ years of relevant experience in lieu of college degree will be considered
  • Ability to manage administrative and operational responsibilities with minimum supervision
  • Demonstrated proficiency with managing productive collaborative relationships with CROs, CDMOs and other external stakeholders
  • Demonstrated record of ensuring completion of projects to timelines, and within budget
  • Experience with drug discovery and/or development in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry
  • Excellent team and interpersonal oral and written communication skills
  • Expert in multi-tasking, organizing, and prioritizing a must
  • Detail oriented with ability to work independently
  • Experience in working remotely and/or the maturity to thrive in a virtual team environment
