Job Description

As a Quality Associate I, you will perform visual, mechanical and function inspection, analysis and/or testing for conformance with established specifications. Completes documentation, paperwork and data entry to support inspection procedures. Required Hours: 1st shift 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, Monday - Friday Exceeding customer expectations is one of our guiding principles at IDEXX. What you can expect in this role You will perform inspections, analysis and/or testing to specifications, requirements, and industry standards, using specialized instruments as needed. You will complete documentation, paperwork and data entry. You will collect and provide reports and data to management; and assist with completing surveys, audits and certification. You will maintain current procedures and SOPs; identify and recommend process improvements and new procedures; and assist in implementing changes. You will manage special handling requirements for hazardous material as needed. What you will need to succeed High School diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Associates degree or equivalent in chemistry or biology preferred. Regularly required to stand and sit for extended periods; extend and reach with hands and arms; and use hands, fingers to handle, squeeze, twist and manipulate objects, controls and tools. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Regularly perform repetitive bench work. Personal protective equipment and/or clothes required. Intermediate PC skills, preferably MS Office, SAP experience. Ability to read and comprehend correspondence, memos and SOPs. Ability to present information effectively in one-on-one and small group situations. Problem solving skills; taking initiative to deal with challenge. Must be able to manage time and priorities effectively and efficiently, and be able to work well alone, as well as in a team environment. Why IDEXX?
