As a Senior Quality Specialist, you will be a member of a dedicated team focused on continual improvement efforts for processes associated with biotech industry manufacturing and delivery of products for animal healthcare. This is an opportunity to drive results by participating and leading collaborative teams to develop quality culture through partnering with the different business functions with a focus on the customer. You will be supporting the quality team through engagement with key business partners in active collaboration and innovation. What you can expect in this role Leading projects, monitoring activities and evaluating quality opportunities Managing escalated/critical issues, provides coaching and guidance to business partners and help to development to strengthen their quality mindset To be responsible for leading continual improvement of quality processes Leading work activities, planning and organizing work, to meet expectations while maintaining work on schedule so that ongoing customer satisfaction is maintained Being accountable for the performance quality processes and programs Communicating with other related departments to coordinate work and resolve issues as needed. Preparing reports and other information summarizing work activities and reporting results to peer groups as well as senior management. Prepares various analyses as needed to highlight issues and resolve questions. What you will need to succeed Bachelors’ degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Typically, in-depth experience in area managed, 3+ years’ supervisory experience Strong communication skills and ability to influence across groups. Experience identifying and implementing process improvements Experience integrating Lean methodologies. The ability to communicate risk to a variety of stakeholders, recommend solutions and create alignment is imperative. Skills to be a leader and make high quality decisions with minimal information.
