Position Responsibilities

  • Identify elemental impurities in active pharmaceutical ingredients, excipients, packaging components, and equipment.
  • Summarize the drug product composition related to the maximum dose.
  • Obtain elemental impurity data from raw material files
  • Calculate the concentration of impurities and compare them to the Permitted Daily Exposure (PDE) limits

Education and Experience

High school degree or equivalent. Enrolled in studies for Science, Technical or equivalent degree at a 4-year institution of higher learning.

Technical Skills and Competencies Required

Able to use Office suite of programs including Word, PowerPoint, Notes, Teams, and Excel. Complete calculations using basic math. Able to take direction from Quality Operations team.

Physical Position Requirements

  • Manual dexterity using hands and fingers
  • This job entails sitting or standing at a laboratory bench or desk.
