Position Summary:

Zoetis is seeking a candidate that will provide requirements analysis and support for its Diagnostic Connectivity ecosystem, specifically in the areas of user experience, connectivity, and systems integration. The ecosystem is comprised of diagnostic instruments, network and cloud connectors and Digital customer facing applications (mobile & web). In this position, the Digital Product Owner will assist gathering and analysis of requirements as well as the translation into detailed user stories for development. The Digital Product Owner will be required to have knowledge of strategic design and mapping of business requirements to system/technical requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Digital Product Owner and Product Management to create and maintain a product backlog
  • Participate in refinement, prioritization, and planning of requirements in the context of the groups and organization strategies
  • Create and review requirements and functional analysis specifications to ensure they are relevant, correct, unambiguous, and verifiable/testable
  • Communicate detailed requirement specifications to the Development team
  • Participate in research and evaluation of end-user requests and feedback
  • Assist in software verification and validation tasks/activities by working with test engineers in test case definition and system and integration testing
  • Assist in troubleshooting and functional detailing for the Level 3 technical support team

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s in Computer Science, or a combination education and equivalent experience; MS preferred
  • Certifications are a plus (CBAP/CCBA, PSM/PSPO, PMP)
  • 3+ years in business analysis in Software Development
  • Software methodologies and frameworks (Waterfall, Scrum, Kanban)

Knowledge, Skills, Ability Requirements:

  • Proactive thinker with a demonstratable attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Work on multiple projects simultaneously and adjust to changing priorities. Demonstrated organizational, analytical, prioritization, and time management skills
  • Interface with different stakeholders in a multidiscipline team (technical, business, support) in multiple locations worldwide
  • Excellent communicator able to work with team members of varying technical ability and knowledge (business users, support, operations, R&D, SW development)
  • Excellent English in verbal and written communication required. Must be able to generate organized, clean, useful documentation according to company and industry standards.
  • Familiar with diagnostic instrumentation a plus

Technical Requirements:

  • Documentation, prototyping and diagram tools (Office, Visio, UML, wireframing)
  • Mobile and web technologies (Android and iOS, Web applications / REST APIs, Cloud AWS/Azure, Databases)
  • Version control, issue tracking and V&V tools (TFS, JIRA, Confluence, Testlink, HP testing tools)
