SPECIALIST, INVENTORY CONTROL OM & PD:

To coordinate the order management process at the USAH Physical Distribution Center. This position interfaces with Revenue Operations, Marketing, Planning, Physical Distribution Operations, Global Supply and Inventory Control to ensure that issues are resolved and an order fulfillment schedule is developed to meet customer service requirements of all business units. Duties & Responsibilities

SPECIALIST, INVENTORY CONTROL OM & PD:

  • Execute and plan the creation of SAP deliveries to provide timely work for Physical Distribution Operations to ensure customer service goals are achieved for USAH.
  • Responsible as a primary contact with the Revenue Operations to ensure all orders with normal and special handling requirements; allocated inventory, donation orders, international orders and expedited orders are processed to meet the customer service requirements.
  • Lead with Revenue Operations the function to investigate SAP transactional data and validate customer claims regarding order fulfillment errors by distribution.
  • Execute the transfer SAP inventory for new batch releases within 24 hours to meet department goals.
  • Execute the delivery creation of back orders with Physical Distribution Operations to ensure the most efficient order fulfillment plan.
  • Provide a daily workload summary report to Physical Distribution Operations to communicate fulfillment progress with existing work and new work to be used to labor planning.
  • Coordinate with Planning to ensure Sioux Center Transfer orders are processed to meet the stock deployment requirements for USAH.
  • Process SAP workflows and coordinate with Physical Distribution Operations to resolve any system issues preventing post goods issue and invoicing to ensure customer service and department goals are achieved.
  • Maintain departmental reports required to support monthly department reporting.
  • Back up all other Inventory Control department functions during time off or workload changes.

Eligibility

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction.
  • Must be willing to take a drug test and post-offer physical (if required).
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.

SPECIALIST, INVENTORY CONTROL OM & PD:

  • Associates Degree, preferably in a business related field, from an accredited institution, or minimum five (5) years warehouse or supply chain experience required
  • Must be able to work with limited supervision and possess excellent communication skills both verbally and written.
  • Must have experience with order processing and inventory control in an ERP system, preferably SAP.
  • Must be able to prioritize daily workload and analyze and solve problems independently.
  • Must be willing to learn all phases of Physical Distribution including Inventory Control, and Order Processing.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office software.

  • Work pace may vary from day to day.
  • Physical ability to rotate, as applicable, through all position functions as determined by management from time to time as position requires.

  • Able to lift moderate weights, 10 to 30 lbs.

Visual Demands

  • Sufficient vision to read handwritten data, computer-generated documents.
  • Adjust mechanical and instrumental equipment and to be aware of the general work area, constantly.
  • Hearing is necessary for conversational purposes and to be aware of machine operations, and/or office environment

  • Alertness and awareness of the general work area is necessary at all times.
  • Written and verbal communication skills are necessary to interact with co-workers and to complete documentation.
  • Ability to work independently, in a team atmosphere, and with employees at all levels.
  • Long and short-term memory is utilized for procedures and processes.

Level of Proficiency

  • Converse in Standard English at college level, and comprehend written communication for basic instructions, safety rules, and procedures at high school graduate level.
  • Knowledge and execution of and compliance at all times with departmental safety, quality, operational procedures, machine manuals and training manuals, cGMP and company policies and procedures are required.
  • Advanced computer skills
  • Must pass a drug screen prior to starting employment.

Attendance / Schedule

  • Daily attendance and punctuality must be maintained in accordance with policies and procedures.
  • An 8 hour work schedule beginning at 6:00am
