Description

The Principal Specialist, Product Lifecyle Management will proactively manage and coordinate product life cycle from launch, to change to withdrawal across all involved stakeholders (local/regional/global functions: Manufacturing, Regulatory, Supply Chain, Quality, Marketing. This role will manage processes and systems (e.g., Product Readiness, Terminator, SLCI, One Pac, Go Track). The incumbent will plan and coordinate highly complex launch and change activities for multi-country presentations in close alignment with the Global PSM team and other relevant functions to ensure timely implementation.

The Principal Specialist, Product Lifecyle Management will drive and manage cross-functional alignment and decision-making as well as manage all label text changes to ensure that the site remains compliant with USDA and market regulatory requirements.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Acts as PLM for the (R)OPU/POPU towards defined stakeholders/interfaces.
  • Manages the SKU creation process via Product Readiness and consecutive workflows for (R)OPU/POPU.
  • Aligns with Marketing and OPUs on launches and timelines and ensure on-time availability of SKUs.
  • Subject matter expert for launch, change and pruning process from (R)OPU/POPU perspective (information go-to person).
  • Ensures all system workflows (e.g., SLCI requests, Change Controls etc.) are started in timely manner to ensure proper implementation to ensure transparency for all stakeholders.
  • Coordinates the Product Readiness / Master Data Workflow preparation and information collection across Marketing, Regulatory Affairs and Finance and Controlling.
  • Acts as SLCI single point of contact for the (R)OPU/POPU.
  • Ensures all launch and change relevant processes are documented and documentation is up to date.
  • Acts as site lead / coordinator for all One Pac projects to ensure that all artwork text is managed in a timely and compliant way.
  • Aims to avoid portfolio complexity by challenging respective stakeholders for SKU needs.
  • Ensures cross-functional alignment for all product portfolio related topics (launch, change, withdrawal, site transfer, consolidation of SKUs, etc.) via the S&OP process and local supply review.
  • Drives and coordinates SKU launch / transfer / withdrawal and customer change process.
  • As the Process owner, drives the continuous improvement of process and systems related to Launch and Change Management.
  • Models behaviors aligned with the site continuous improvement mindset, implements ideas, programs and change management initiatives that will have sustainable long-term benefits according to the organization strategic goals and objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with five (5) years’ experience of relevant Supply Chain experience.

OR

  • Associates Degree with ten (10) years of relevant experience in Supply Chain.
  • Experience within demand/replenishment planning, commercial SCM or packaging/artwork management in pharmaceutical/OTC/FMCG industries preferred.
  • Certificates (preferred): APICS.
  • Conflict management, teamwork, and negotiation.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction.
  • Must be willing to take a drug test and post-offer physical (if required).
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
