Position Summary: This role is designed to lead the Retail Execution and Operations success at Elanco, providing flawless execution for our products and programs at retail. This role will lead the operations team and will ensure all internal and external elements of our programs exceed customer expectations.

Your Responsibilities:

• Leads a team of operational professionals to deliver flawless execution of Elanco programs at retail:
  • Strong Operational support focused on ensuring Best in Class Retail Execution.
  • Leads the team by removing obstacles and creating repeatable processes
  • Strong people leader able to motivate and energize a team
  • Collaborates with all cross-functional teammates: Customer Experience, Finance, HR, Brand, Sales Representatives, Category Management, and Shopper Marketing team members.
  • Develops and maintains Standard Operating Procedures for all sales initiatives (Rinse-Repeat) for consistency and efficiency
  • Owns develops and delivers Product Development (PLE’s) for retail through the team.
  • Trade Operations for all customers with linkage to the customer teams, and Elanco Finance.
  • Merchandising development of shippers and pallets from budgeting all the way through to the display hitting the back room at a store.
  • Retail execution and coverage plans as needed to support void coverage or new item shelf placement.
  • Understands Elanco internal operations and how to get initiatives through the building and out to retail.
  • Sales Operations to include customer setup, Citi2.0, and all systems to support new customers and new items.
  • Owns communication across the entire PH Retail team and our counterparts. Collects and organizes weekly communication from other departments at Elanco working with Brand Commercialization and other cross-functional partners.
  • Retail Execution to Third Party and surge programs
  • Develops and manages Shared location for all sales materials/tools that can easily be found and navigated for self-service.

What You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications):

• Associate degree minimum; Bachelor's degree preferred
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in retail sales, marketing operations, or customer service
• Experience managing training and developing people

Additional Skills & Preferences:

• Retail Sales experience preferred with a solid understanding of what’s needed to be successful at retail
• Ability to solve complex issues while working cross-functionally

Additional Information:

• Location: Global Elanco Headquarters - Greenfield, IN - Hybrid Work Environment
• Travel: Estimated at 25-30% annually.
