**May not own or have contact with other birds or poultry. ** Description: To provide for the proper receiving, inspecting, screening, documentation, storage, and delivery of all materials received and used in compliance with USDA and GMP standards. To provide for the proper control of unreleased inventory and assistance with the preparation of international shipments and transport such items to proper internal destinations. To support the transportation of materials between the Gainesville and Athens, GA sites. Duties & Responsibilities: Follow policies and procedures for receiving responsibilities including the inspection of received materials, screening and filing of required documentation, data entry into Oracle inventory control systems, as well as the storage, release, and delivery of such inventory, in compliance with USDA and GMP standards. Transport product between the Athens and Gainesville sites while providing accurate documentation, staging & storage requirements, sample delivery and provide timely communication to internal customers of deliveries. Transport all raw materials, internal/external mail, Kanban supplies, work-in-process and waste to various BIAH locations along with corresponding documentation. Transport and store unreleased frozen finished product from Production to the Receiving freezers, transport released finished product from the Receiving and Packaging Department to the Distribution Warehouse. Monitor and maintain multiple temperature logs and report any that are out of range to MRD supervisor. Maintain a clean and orderly Receiving warehouse based on USDA and GMP guidelines, Lean concepts as well as comply with 5S principles. Participate in training in all areas of the Receiving Department Participate in physical inventory cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracies. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements: High School Diploma or GED equivalent, required Proficient computer knowledge in Microsoft Office including Word, and Excel, required Must have clean driving record to operate commercial box truck. 1 year of warehousing experience in a highly regulated production environment, preferred. Good written and verbal communication skills preferred. Must maintain medical card certification and become forklift certified, post-hire Required to maintain a forklift operator license and properly operate a fork truck to pick up, move, place, and position materials, post-hire Ability to lift 50 lbs independently, lift with assistance up to 100 lbs, and maneuver 200 lb drums/barrels. Ability to lift / push/ pull 50 lbs. and carry it at least 10 feet. Required to be safety conscious in performing daily tasks. Must be able to manage diverse responsibilities independent of supervision. Ability to bend and lift frequently. Ability to work well in a team environment and shift priorities with ease. Must be able to squat and stoop, as well as twisting and turning. Manual dexterity and visual acuity are important. Eligibility Requirements: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction. Must be willing to take a drug test and post-offer physical (if required).
