Duties & Responsibilities

  • Define and ensure adherence to the production sequence pattern and monthly production schedule for the process area
  • Define equipment needs and process allocation needs are met across applicable process steps. Point person as interface on Projects as they relate to your specific areas
  • Determine impact to customer deliveries caused by production issues and follows up to ensure mitigations and action plans are in place
  • Demonstrate a visible and tangible commitment to EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) programs and initiatives
  • Identifies skill gaps, training needs, plan development and effectiveness of learned skills.
  • Ensure products produced are of good quality and comply with local, global quality and regulatory requirements, to include document management and process audits
  • Individual and Team objectives

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution (preferably Science, Business or Engineering) and five to seven (5-7) years related experience.
  • Working knowledge of GMP and USDA requirements for Vaccine Manufacturing
  • Demonstrated leadership, strong organizational and time management skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Clean room and aseptic technique knowledge.
  • Experience in management and leading people in a production environment
  • In depth knowledge in biological vaccine manufacturing including but not limited to; media production, cell production, virus production, bacterial production
  • Knowledgeable in ERP system
  • Strong problem solving and decision making skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
  • Effective communication (written and verbal)
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills
