Job Description

As a Cassette Production Team Lead, you will perform day- to- day activities for staffing, assigning work, and coaching. You will have opportunity to work in a fast- paced environment. Communicating with other related department to coordinate work and resolve issues as needed. Required Hours: 1st shift: 5am to 1pm, Monday – Friday Exceeding customer expectations is one of our guiding principles at IDEXX. What you can expect in this role: Able to run all equipment in Cassette department. Create production weekly schedule and share with team, make necessary adjustment align with planning. Maintain daily build schedule. Follow all prescribed safety measures and practice good chemical hygiene. Lead Gemba Board and Idea board. Ensure that all transactions are recorded accurately. Maintain safe and clean environment by enforcing 6S. Input product data into SAP and generate NCMR if necessary. Assign in correcting mistakes and conducting rework when necessary. Kept up with day- to- day schedule changes and assured team was up to date to prevent potential rework/ mistake. Adjust operators on different machines according to demand. Maintain production goals even when short staffed. Build effective team by training operators to task previously assigned to a single person. Communicate efficiently with different departments to fulfill production needs. Assisted in a series of Lean projects to improve the product process. Assist manager to conduct employee assessment and provide training. What you will need to succeed: High School diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Ability to organize, prioritize and work activities. Strong leadership skill and good team player. Problem solving skills; taking initiative to deal with challenge.
