You can learn more about working with this team here. Shift Information: 3rd Shift (9.00pm – 5.30am) Monday – Friday You will also be required to attend some virtual or onsite meetings on day shift. What you can expect in this role You will coordinate activities of all direct reports to ensure build plans are met monthly You will ensure the availability of all required documentation and raw materials for planned production of existing and new products You will achieve product standard costs; monitor and propose standard cost adjustments You will meet all standard labor and material usages; make recommendations and improve where applicable You will create/maintain/implement procedures and documentation to support process changes, new products, and new equipment. You will Identify/recommend/implement measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and product quality. You will create and present quality and production reports for management. May routinely make presentations to senior management You will review production and operating reports and resolve operational, manufacturing and maintenance problems You will mentor, coach, and train employees. May be responsible for assessing training needs, developing training curriculum and programs. Deliver training, and monitor training costs You will manage staff, assign work, monitor activities, evaluate performance, manage escalated/critical issues, administer employment actions, provide coaching and guidance to staff and promote staff training and development. What You Will Need to Succeed You possess a bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. You will have the ability to use SAP system to track department operations; proficiency is a plus You will have effective communication skills both verbal and written with strong presentation skills for various audiences including senior management. You will have the ability to lead, direct and delegate and have team building and gaining commitment skills You will have leadership abilities to champion change, drive for results and inspire trust and credibility You will have excellent, effective customer service skills also organizational and people development skills for performance management You will have the ability to apply logic and reason to a dynamic work environment to accomplish business objectives You will have problem analysis and resolution skills, also excellent planning, and execution skills, with strong analytical abilities is preferred Why IDEXX?
