The Sr. Principal Business Analyst or AD Lead Business Consultant I is responsible to provide and further develop best practice and the governance framework for projects, programs, products and portfolios, aligned with business strategy and objectives, to ensure the intended project deliverables and outcomes. This role can be based out of our Ridgefield, CT location and has a flexible hybrid onsite work schedule 2-3 days per week dependent upon business needs.

Compensation Data

This position offers a base salary typically between $111,000 and $183,000.  The position may be eligible for a role specific variable or performance based bonus and or other compensation elements.  For an overview of our benefits please click here.

Duties & Responsibilities

Increase excellence in project, product and portfolio management and applying innovative and “agile” methodologies. Continuously investigate new approaches and tools.
Reduce unnecessary complexity of governance processes.
Foster Project managers and IT Capability Leads training and certifications.
Provide guidance and coaching to Project and Product Teams.
Promote and assist Product and Project teams with value deliverables.
Communicate and promote outcomes, results and progress to the organization.
Work with IT Management and give guidance on managing their portfolios (prioritization based on budget and value outcome, realistic demand forecast, track project efficiency / delivery).
Provide and further develop standard reporting for portfolios.
Author and deliver training materials for internal audiences.
Partner with associated IT Regions, Governance and Security teams and further enabling functions to ensure smooth execution of cross-functional processes, e.g., project financial processes, purchasing, contract & vendor management, resource management / time recording, legal & compliance.

Requirements

Sr. Principal Business Analyst

-Associate degree from an accredited institution with a focus in Computer Science, MIS, Business Administration, Business Informatics or related field with a minimum of eleven (11) years of experience; or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution with a focus in Computer Science, or MIS, Business Administration, Business Informatics or related field with minimum nine (9) years of experience; or a Master’s degree from an accredited institution with a focus in Computer Science, MIS, Business Administration, Business Informatics or related field with minimum seven (7) years of experience; or relevant Business or IT experience of minimum of eleven (11) years.
-Project, Program, Product and Portfolio Management, and proven experience on large and complex projects or programs.

Associate Director

Education · Bachelor/Master degree (or equivalent); progressive IT and business experience of 5-10 years is preferred.

-Strong business process knowledge, and a demonstrated capability to apply technology solutions in addressing complex business issues.

-Demonstrated project management capability based on the successful completion of projects in multiple business areas.

-Demonstrated knowledge of the critical issues associated with coordinating multiple IT functions, resources, and processes

- Strong communication skills, relationship development and management capabilities. This person will work with both domestic and global teams.

-Strong foundation in and an in-depth understanding of all phases of the Project Management.

-Preferred technical skills include the use of industry project management and reporting. Informed on current and new technologies and their application to the business.

-Experience with Power BI or Tableau; SCRUM, JIRA and Confluence preferred. Project management certification

n (e.g., PMP, IPMA level C) preferred.

Working experience in in global business environment, ideally in process management and business consulting preferred

Expert level of technical understanding and demonstrated knowledge for area of responsibility.

Must be willing to take a drug test and post-offer physical (if required).
Must be 18 years of age or older.
