U.S. Leadership Development Trainer

Job Description

The U.S. Leadership Development Trainer is an integral member of the U.S. Commercial Learning & Development (L&D) team. This position is responsible for facilitating Leadership Development training to ensure our U.S. people managers/leaders are fully equipped with all the necessary tools and training to successfully lead their teams. Delivering key leadership programs; Leadership Essentials and Leadership Excellence are core to this position. This role requires the ability to partner with and support our Human Resources, Talent Development, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion teams. Content and learning solutions will include the following: instructor-led, e-learning, webinars, video, job aids, facilitator guides and resource landing pages. He/she will also collaborate with external vendors and internal or field-based subject matter experts, as necessary, to design and deliver select portions of the Leadership Essentials and Excellence training program/curriculum.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Deliver Zoetis Leadership Essentials and Leadership Excellence training to U.S. leaders
  • Facilitate and certify in key portions of program curricula i.e. Situational Leadership, Emotional Intelligence, Insights, Crucial Conversations etc.
  • Partner with stakeholders to identify and source appropriate field-based and internal facilitators as well as outside subject matter experts to develop and deliver function specific and technical portions of the programs, as needed.
  • Schedule and coordinate train-the-trainer sessions for all internal and outside facilitators and speakers
  • Budget, schedule, coordinate and host all instructor-led, live virtual and self-directed learning events
  • Collect feedback on program effectiveness and update/revise content to ensure appropriate return on investment
  • Support as field subject matter expert across various sales tool roll outs and enhancements, as needed.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Indicate the formal education, certification or license required and/or preferred. Include the minimum number of years of relevant experience required for the position (where legally permissible).

•College Degree (BS, BA, or related degree).

•Minimum of 5-7 years’ training experience (leadership/management development preferred) and direct people management experience. Experience as a Zoetis people manager is strongly preferred

•Situational Leadership, knowledge a plus.

•Ideal candidate will also have 3-5 years’ experience in the following: management development, sales training, group facilitation, learning delivery, instructional design
