Role Description:

The Senior Associate, Business Integration is responsible for project management, cross functional workstreams including Value Driver metrics tracking for each overall integration and other key business initiatives. This role is responsible for working with the Business Development and Integration teams in defining a process to precisely monitor business performance against key metrics that will be defined during the due diligence phase of acquisition. The role is also responsible for defining and embedding consistent and sustainable processes and governance across the organization. They are accountable for developing, refining, and leading highly visible and cross functional project and process improvement initiatives. The Senior Associate, Business Integration must demonstrate strong leadership, management, communication, effective negotiation and project management skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Track and compile business performance metrics for each integration and summarize/present findings to key executive stakeholders.
  • Work with key stakeholders (internal and external) to assess work thoroughly, identify scope, develop project plans and execute against those plans.
  • Perform workstream tasks and prioritize resources to meet business objectives.
  • Support certain cross-functional workstreams such as change management, data migration, testing, cutover activities and training.
  • Assist the Business Integration team in the development of organizational and departmental goals and objectives.
  • Manage day-to-day operational aspects of all assigned projects and gains consensus from stakeholders to ensure successful implementation.
  • Responsible for handling multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Set vision for projects and business initiatives within project team and with key stakeholders.
  • Outline and control project timelines to align with business needs.
  • Analyze business risks related to each project, share findings and recommendations with Business Integration team members.
  • Provide oversight and governance by working with the business, processes and procedures to accomplish project objectives.
  • Design and implement KPI measures to manage process performance for sustainability and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and present insightful analysis utilizing business analytics and data to develop points of view and to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide insight, guidance, and leadership when needed to the strategy and business development department, sales and operations department, manufacturing and supply chain department, etc.
  • Manage relationships cross-functionally with both internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, IT/computer science, project management, leadership required
  • PMP certification a plus
  • Four to six years of project management and integration experience
  • Highly skilled in Excel Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Access
  • Strong analytical, research, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Strong leadership, decision making and organizational skills
  • Ability to think ahead and plan within timelines and resources; set priorities and goals; anticipate and adjust for problems; evaluate workloads
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally with other employees at all levels of the company
  • Self-motivated, proactive, quick learner with a desire to improve processes and drive the business towards increasing efficiencies
  • An ability to direct and influence resources without direct reporting relationships
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Values quality of work and possess high attention to detail
