Responsibilities: This role will lead critical business driven IT initiatives in the G&A space partnering with our G&A Finance, Transformation, HR & Legal leadership to shape strategies that drive company value, accelerate productivity whilst maintain company obligations to regulatory bodies. The primary focus will be key initiatives for in the HR and Finance space ensuring that Information Technology solutions are leveraged to meet more valuable business outcomes. This position will report to the G&A IT Senior IT Director and may include the following responsibilities:

Key responsibilities include:

In partnership with the IT BRM Leadership and other IT Advisors/Consultants, this role will have direct responsibilities across G&A for:

• Engaging with Global Business Stakeholders to understand and influence broad business strategies in the context of information technology as a key enabler and differentiator.

• Having and building comprehensive knowledge of internal and external information technology environments with a focus on HR and Finance.

• Engage with the G&A leaders to build multi-year strategic IT roadmaps maximizing the value of the business investment.

• Correlating business and IT insights into business value, driven by the G&A Governance, Prioritization and Portfolio management through established processes with the business stakeholders.

• Ensure alignment with internal IT delivery groups for the successful delivery of the business outcomes.

• Lead change, collaborate, build partnerships, and achieve tangible results through the engagement and alignment of multiple stakeholders.

• Correlating business and IT insights into business value driven IT architectural roadmap in the Finance space.

• Partnering across the IT organization, with a focus on ERP driven processes, to set definitive strategies that lead to accelerated outcomes across complex problems or opportunities driven in a One Elanco mindset.

• Interpret and translate complex regulatory drivers, compliance requirements, company risks, and company exposures to ensure IT solutions in G&A space are best positioned to maintain integrity, trust and reliability.

Basic Qualifications:

• Minimum of bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or Information Technology or Finance

• At least 5 years of ERP design and broad HR and Financial business process experience that led to influencing the performance of a global business process/area/function using Information Technology

• Deep HR and Finance Business Knowledge (inc General Accounting, Taxation, Treasury and Financial Planning and Reporting.)

• Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States. Elanco does not anticipate providing sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B or TN status) for this employment position.

• Direct experience in new ERP Implementations with a focus on Finance, including Tax, Treasury and Corporate Finance

• Strong Leadership and negotiating skills across different levels of leadership

• Expertise in working in complex, diverse landscape (business, technology, regulatory and partners)

• Strong Organizational and Communication skills with key focus on conveying complex ideas and thoughts into clear definitive directions and results

• Comfortable with ambiguity and working autonomously

• Experience in Computer System Validation in a SOX environment

• At least 5 Experience with ERP systems (Oracle and/or SAP)

Additional Skills/Preferences:

• Experience in making configuration changes within an ERP environment.

• Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
