Job Description
The Commercial Acceleration Director (CAD) plays a crucial role in our Livestock Business Unit, reporting to the Global Species Business Unit Lead. The CAD drives global strategic direction and ensures alignment with relevant functions. They strategically map opportunities, plan, lead, and execute critical business initiatives for long-term success. Working closely with senior leaders, the CAD accelerates execution, achieves goals, and enhances market performance. Moreover, collaborates with markets on defining roadmaps, monitors execution, guides change, identifies risks, and reviews projects. The CAD interfaces with global marketing, technical, regional business leads, key account managers, and commercial teams to align company objectives and drive customer success. Responsibilities include defining project milestones, measuring success with metrics, and reporting to leadership. The CAD provides insights and recommendations for business strategy enhancement. They oversee diverse initiatives, such as new product launches, innovative business models, biopharma and technology solutions, and customer segmentation strategies. Required:Minimum 8 years experience in the Animal Health Industry and/or related industry.Full proficiency in English, with proficiency in a second language preferredExperience working in a matrix environment and leading cross-functional teams.Broad critical thinking and strategic decision-making skills.Ability to influence and communicate effectively with senior leadership.Self-starter with strong project management and leadership skills.Experience or proven ability to work in a multicultural environment.Excellent business acumen and a positive, collaborative attitude.Deep understanding of the Animal Health Industry, particularly the Livestock market.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Availability for frequent domestic and international travel.
