The Bio Process Associate position is part of a team of specialists and scientists responsible for creating excellence in manufacturing process technology. The Bio Process Associate is accountable for compiling and maintaining scientific data captured to enhance the understanding of the scientific principles that underscore the manufacturing processes and capabilities. The incumbent will deliver on a technical agenda aligned with the corporate strategy to deliver the desired business outcomes for product innovation, portfolio expansion, and productivity.

The Bio Process Associate reports to a leader within TS/MS. The position is located in Fort Dodge, a city in north central Iowa, along the Des Moines River offering a variety of outdoor recreational activities and is close to Iowa State University and the urban center of Des Moines.

Job Responsibilities:

  • This position complies, verifies accuracy, and reports manufacturing data in accordance with approved functional procedures. Primary activities will include collecting data from manufacturing documents, data entry into analytical software, and tracking process information. Interaction with TS/MS, Quality, and Manufacturing personnel for clarification and guidance, as necessary.
  • Review technical data for errors and incomplete documentation. Escalate compliance concerns to area leaders. Assist with remediation, as needed.
  • Accurately transcribes information into applicable program, applies data program techniques and procedures, and generates reports. Store completed work in designated locations.
  • Scan documents and print files, as needed.
  • Complies with data integrity and security policies.

Basic Minimum Requirements:

  • Minimum of High School Diploma/GED

  • Work experience in USDA or regulated animal health industry is beneficial.

  • Experience with Microsoft Excel and data programs

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Proven data entry work experience

  • Attention to detail and commitment to customer service

  • Ability to effectively work within records software and updated files accurately

  • Knowledge of correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation

  • Proven organization and time management skills

  • Ability to work in environment with evolving priorities

  • Operates in compliant manner with a high level of accuracy, integrity, and ethics

  • Performs the duties within TSMS with minimal supervision

  • Assists in improving Manufacturing Direction’s good documentation practices

  • Ability to follow written procedures, SOPs, and other documents

  • Collaboration in a team-based environment
