Job Description
JOB SUMMARY:
Under general supervision, this position performs logistics activities necessary to insure the accurate and efficient processing of customer orders. These activities may include, but are not limited to, monitoring the order processing cycle shipping and receiving functions.
Job Duties and Responsibilities may include the following:
Receiving/Returns
- Coordinate the movement of product from supply points and third-party vendors.
- Check inbound freight and enter it into SAP. Inspect inbound shipments to insure the appropriate paperwork accompanies the shipment. Take appropriate action for non-compliant shipments.
- Resolve inbound delivery questions with carriers and suppliers to ensure receipt of deliveries.
- Scan and sort small packages.
- Research discrepancies with returned product.
Shipping
- Schedule and ship customer orders for International and Domestic Zoetis Animal Health Customers to ensure on-time delivery using the correct carrier mode.
- Coordinate and ship hazardous and non-hazardous shipments.
- Assist with the tracking, sorting, and monitoring of all non-SAP shipments.
Replenishment
- Replenish inventory to the pick locations for International and Domestic Zoetis Animal Health Warehouses.
- Move product from the Receiving dock to the proper pick or storage location.
Order Processing
- Ensure orders are processed accurately and efficiently, and ensures the area is maintained in a neat, clean, and orderly manner.
- Monitor SAP for new orders.
- Monitor pick line and respond to issues such as rejects, shortage, errors, etc.
General
- Coordinate special projects.
- Communicate business updates and changes to team members.
- Update team metrics.
- Order supplies for team.
- Train team members.
Working Relationships
- Work closely and effectively with other International and Domestic Zoetis Animal Health Coordinators, Operations Support Coordinators, Inventory, Quality, and Customer Service
- Work with other Zoetis locations and departments regarding in-bound and out-bound shipments and to resolve issues regarding orders.
- Work with vendors and carriers such as DHL, FedEx and UPS personnel to ensure proper receipt and shipment of goods and products.
- Contact SAP helpdesks to resolve system problems.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED). An Associate’s Degree preferred
- Experience: At least two years related experience and/or training. Should be proficient in SAP, Microsoft Word and Excel. Proven analytical skills.
- Certificates, Licenses or Registrations: Fork-lift certification may be required.
- Language Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills are required.
- Reasoning Ability: Proven ability to research and analyze data and apply information for business solutions
- Physical Demands: Occasionally works at a desk in a warehouse cubicle. Physical requirements may include:
- Ability to accomplish moderate lifting, repeatedly move up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to grasp and maintain control of large and small packages.
- Ability to reach, handle, and grasp large and small quantities of International and Domestic PAH product.
- Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach and move about the facility.
- Frequent lifting or with other means for movement of boxes, cases and cartons.
- May also include frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing and pulling of parts and part containers can also be expected.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and depth perception.
- Work Environment: Colleague may be exposed to airborne particles and may work near moving mechanical parts. The noise level may be loud. Must be able to work overtime and weekends if needed.
