Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The Account Representative is responsible for launching Synovetin OA® to veterinary professionals within the assigned geography and for driving patient referrals from those veterinary professionals to the local Synovetin OA® Treatment Center. The Account Representative will collaborate with the Regional Business Development Manager who manages the relationship with the Treatment Center and builds awareness.

Exubrion is hiring Account Representatives on initial six-month contracts on part- or full-time basis in the select geographic territories (detailed below).

Responsibilities:

  • Achieve Synovetin OA® sales objectives for the designated region.
  • Analyze and prospect the defined territory to build brand awareness and generate leads.
  • Evaluate, organize, and attend appropriate local, state, and regional conferences to represent Exubrion Therapeutics, build relationships and generate new leads; attend national conferences as needed.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with customers at all levels, while partnering with them to better understand their business objectives and needs.
  • Develop and execute specific, tailored, and measurable business plans that drive Synovetin OA® referrals, adoption, and utilization.
  • Working closely with Treatment Centers, identify actionable opportunities to leverage TC resources to drive referrals and treatments (e.g., data mining, open houses, dinner meetings, etc.).
  • Identify selling and marketing opportunities locally that could help build brand awareness and utilization.
  • Maintain exceptional knowledge about the product, science, publications, licensing process, practice economics, and local regulatory issues. Be considered an expert on all-things a prospective customer needs to know about Synovetin OA®.
  • Use existing selling and marketing materials to showcase the brand and present the brand to prospective customers. Prepare custom materials and presentations as needed.
  • Persuasively present Synovetin OA® to prospective customers that drives action toward training and licensure.
  • Educate rDVMs about Synovetin OA® and the benefits of referral for treatment.
  • Lead the training and onboarding process to ensure all customers are fully prepared to treat or refer.
  • Conduct dinner meetings, lunch ‘n learns and other in-person and virtual events that serve to acquire new treatment centers or encourage referrals.
  • Manage the territory sales/marketing/education budget to the total amount and in a manner that maximizes return on investment.
  • Work collaboratively with other RBDMs, Marketing, Vet Ops, Inside Sales, and Operations to maximize business opportunities and optimize the overall customer experience with Exubrion within the territory and the company as a whole.
  • Actively and professionally participate in company meetings.

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Sales performance-driven mindset, with a primary focus on achieving sales, market share and overall Synovetin OA® business growth.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; exceptional platform presentation skills, with the ability to deliver persuasive presentations in-person or live via zoom.
  • Demonstrated ability to grow the business year over year through acquisition of new customers and expanding market share within existing customers.
  • Exceptional business planning skills. Able to develop and execute concrete Synovetin OA® business growth plans for treatment centers.
  • Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams concurrently. Manage calendars and scheduling.
  • Team-oriented player with strong collaboration skills.
  • High energy, positive attitude, and the ability to operate independently to achieve results.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree; science-related field highly desirable.
  • 10+ years in a direct animal health sales role of increasing responsibilities, with demonstrated success in consistently exceeding sales targets.

Exubrion is a venture-backed startup company that is preparing to commercialize its novel conversion electron therapy for treatment of canine osteoarthritis. The company is based in Buford, Georgia and currently has less than 10 employees. The company has recently attracted investment from several accomplished investors and is now sufficiently capitalized to fund the launch and commercialization of Synovetin OA.

Salary:

  • Salary of $10,000 / month plus incentive compensation.
  • All business-related travel and entertainment expenses are reimbursable. Additional funds are available for local events, such as dinner meetings and lunch n learn.
