Job Description
*Open to remote candidates in U.S. in Eastern or Central Time Zone*
Position Summary:
As a Salesforce Configurator, you will be responsible for delivering solutions to business requirements using Salesforce’s declarative (configuration-based) tools. This role requires hands-on experience configuring Salesforce, testing configurations, and enabling business users to understand and test new features.
Responsibilities:
- Perform declarative configuration work in Salesforce (Sales & Service clouds). You will need to be comfortable with Flows, Process Builder, validation rules, Email-to-Case, Territory Management, etc.
- Design and deliver user permissions and data visibility requirements
- Provide technical and functional expertise to project teams
- Coordinate and facilitate User Acceptance Testing, End-to-End testing, and System Testing
- Document and implement configuration changes and data-mapping requirements
- Maintain process flow documentation
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required
- 2+ years of experience configuring the Salesforce platform
- Prior experience with leading QA and UAT testing
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Basic Qualifications:
- Expertise in Lightning Flows, Process Builder, Validation Rules, Roles/Profiles, Territory Management, etc.
- Strong knowledge of object architecture and sharing/visibility/security structure in Salesforce
- Ability to write and perform accurate and thorough test scenarios for features
- Strong communication skills and ability to work alongside a development team
Preferred Skills:
- Expertise in Service Cloud setup skills such as Email-to-Case, Case Automation, Queues, etc.
- Familiarity with agile software delivery methodologies and tools such as Scrum, Jira, Rally, or Agile Accelerator
- Familiarity with Copado or other Salesforce devops tools
Preferred Credentials:
- Salesforce Platform App Builder Certification
- Salesforce Administrator Certification
Travel Requirements: Limited to no travel (<5%)
