Job Description

Position Summary:

The U.S. Sales Operations Intern will produce insightful analytics to capture and explain performance trends of the Zoetis Field Force, while driving optimization opportunities and proactive direction for the Sales Organization. The candidate will work with Strategic Business Partners to answer challenging analytical questions and highlight quota setting opportunities and challenges. The candidate will also produce creative solutions to complex business problems using advanced analytical techniques, while leveraging both internal and external data sources.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform Sales Analytics and Reporting tasks as assigned to support sales team performance management
  • Document processes and procedures
  • Transform key findings into visual presentations, including graphs and charts
  • Evaluate existing business processes and systems to identify gaps and opportunities for their streamlining
  • Organizing and manipulating large data sets

Education:

  • Currently enrolled in master’s program in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, Operations Research, or related field
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, Operations Research, or related field

Experience/Technical Requirements:

  • Possess strong Microsoft Office skills (including Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Experience in building analytical models in Excel
  • Sales experience a plus.

Knowledge, Skills, Ability Requirements:

Strong analytical mind, intellectual curiosity, and business acumen; able to analyze, interpret, and consolidate large volumes of data and develop a fact-based point of view

Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills; demonstrated ability to effectively communicate complex ideas to a non-technical audience

Display an engaging personality, positive attitude, and strong work ethic

Able to function, adapt, and maintain flexibility in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment

Capable of producing quality materials within tight timeframes while prioritizing to meet deadlines

Ability to work well within a team but also feel comfortable working in isolation and without close oversight.

High attention to detail and must be comfortable working with numbers.

Some exposure to CRM tools (or a desire to learn such).
