Jorgensen Laboratories LLC, a specialty instruments, capital equipment and medical supply company is seeking an initiative-taking, experienced, energetic, and creative candidate as Regional Sales Manager for the Southern California territory.
Territory: S. California/S. Nevada (Field based)
Preferred Experience:
- Animal health industry experience required. Distributor reps, Equipment specialists, Diagnostics, Services are Preferred
- Experience with cloud-based CRM, Sales Tracking and Data software.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Understanding of social media and Web-based Marketing.
- Consistent and solid performance record in prior roles including increased level of responsibility.
- Experience in developing, managing, and maintaining strong distributor partner relationships.
- Candidate must demonstrate initiative and accomplish goals with minimal supervision.
Position Overview:
- Responsible for detailing and selling instruments, equipment, and supplies through distributors to veterinary clinics within assigned geography.
- Work with distributor reps and provide training as needed. Attend regional distributor sales meetings and training opportunities.
- Conduct veterinary clinic sales calls, lunch ‘n learn trainings with and without distributor sales representatives.
- Organize and attend seminars, dinner programs, CE events etc. with targeted veterinarians.
- Develop relationships with veterinary schools (faculty, students etc.) within assigned territory.
- Provide regular feedback, as requested, to management.
- Have solid knowledge of product line and services offered.
- Meet and exceed individual sales goals and budget for assigned territory.
- Represent Jorgensen at various tradeshows and meetings as assigned.
- Prepare and make presentations at National Sales Meetings as requested.
- Knowledge and understanding of the medical, operational, and business side of the veterinary practice.
- Provide input/feedback to management on marketing programs, marketing materials, and distributor programs,
- Some overnight travel required. (25 to 50%)
- Other duties as assigned.
