Job Description

The Associate Marketing Manager – Canine Parasiticides & Cross-Parasiticides Portfolio Strategy will work collaboratively with the Parasiticides B2B, B2C and Cross-Paras Marketing Managers to drive use and loyalty for our portfolio of innovative products: Simparica, ProHeart and Revolution Franchises. Key responsibilities include:

Position Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Marketing Managers to develop, implement and measure multi-channel marketing initiatives which support both immediate and long-term product and portfolio growth
    • Provide timely marketing materials and programs to the sales force, channel partners (distribution, retail, etc.), and customer (veterinarians and pet owners)
    • Be highly responsive to sales force communications in support of demand creation efforts
    • Leverage CRM and Next Generation Sales Engine (NGSE) digital optimization tactics to elevate marketing automation, audience segmentation, targeting and sales force engagement
    • Support trade show and medical education strategy and execution
  • Participate in financial planning and development of sales and operating budgets; manage within approved financial parameters to enhance profitability
  • Support ongoing demand planning and financial forecasting
  • Monitor and gather key customer insights, competitive activities and market insights to incorporate into effective marketing strategies
  • As a colleague within Petcare Marketing, model Zoetis Core Values and leader behaviors, conducting business in a manner consistent with those values and behaviors

Education and Experience

  • 2-5 years marketing and/or analytics experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or relevant major. MBA preferred

Technical Skills

  • Excellent project management skills and computer software skills among standard company programs
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to work with large data sets in Excel
  • Strengths in collaboration and relationship building with both internal and external customers
  • Understanding of science-based marketing and the marketing process; Animal Health sales/marketing or human health marketing experience preferred
  • Ability to travel to internal and external meetings, and customer interactions (15%)
