Ridley Block Operations, part of the Alltech® Feed Division, manufactures and markets block supplements, loose minerals, and dried molasses. Products are sold under highly recognized and proprietary brand names, including: CRYSTALYX®, SWEETLIX®, ULTRALYX® and STOCKADE®. We also offer several controlled and privately labeled products. We are currently seeking candidates for a Quality and Food Safety Specialist at our Flemingsburg, KY feed facility. Hours for this full-time position are 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

This position will be responsible for all quality testing, training, and administration for the Flemingsburg feed plant.

Primary Duties:

• Product quality testing with lab equipment
• Quality and safety training of employees
• Quality and safety document creation and retention
• Creating Site Specific Quality Work Instructions
• Ensure Sample processing in conducted per established protocol
• Assist with production scheduling and inventory management and finished goods quality checks
• Complete and maintain Alltech® quality requirements per quality schedule set forth for each facility
• Work with team to investigate and close complaints

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2 years’ experience in quality and office administration
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Communications skills
• Customer service skills
