Job Description

POSITION TITLE: Quality Operations Technician – Documentation

The Quality Operations Documentation Technician supports the change management of GMP documentation such as SOPs, Job Aids, and Forms. The position also supports the data gathering and authoring of annual Periodic Product Reports (PPR). This role is critical to maintaining compliance of active GMP documents and may also be required to help manage the document archival process.

  • Proficiency in using ETS, Veeva Vault, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Pro systems/software is preferred.
  • Requires a high degree of attention to detail and the ability during data gathering and report writing to ensure the suitability and correctness of information being reported. Must also correctly apply GMP standards for documentation during change routing and identify errors, improper change management and improper documentation practices.
  • Requires interaction with Operations, Materials Management, and Technical Services colleagues to verify the accuracy of the material information and data that may have been impacted by changes during the review period, and to properly update GMP documentation.
  • The position may also cross train in other QA roles as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

NOTE: Candidate must not be Cephalosporin/Penicillin sensitive.

Associates Degree (science field) preferred, but not required with high school diploma or GED and applicable experience.

Knowledge of Quality Assurance/Quality Control systems and Good Manufacturing Practices requirements.

An understanding of drug product manufacturing is preferred.

Demonstrated proficiency in applicable computer software and systems.

Demonstrated personal leadership and accountability in day-to-day interaction.

Must be self-motivated and willing to learn new and changing responsibilities.

Must be able to follow written and verbal directions or guidelines.

Must possess good written and oral communication skills to work with all levels as both service providers and customers

Must be able to work both independently and in a team environment.

Must be able to work under shifting priorities to meet deadlines in support of operations.
