QA Analyst I Job Description Just 65 miles from Center City Philadelphia, Allentown – or Lehigh Valley – is in close proximity to many of the major Northeastern U.S. cities, which makes it an ideal location for manufacturing and distributing consumer goods. In a typical 24-hour production cycle, we conduct 30,000 documented quality checks involving ingredient/packaging, receiving, processing, and packing. That’s how much we care.

As a Quality Assurance Analyst, you will assure compliance to Nestle and Regulatory guidelines and specifications for production of wholesome and safe pet food products through leadership as well as audit incoming materials, manufacturing parameters and procedures, and finished product inspection.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Monitor and audit incoming materials, manufacturing parameters, procedures and finished product inspection.
  • Coordinate in-process and finished product release.
  • Inspect process control points.
  • Perform sensory evaluations of ingredients and products.
  • Assist with training and skill development of production personnel on various quality topics.
  • Active involvement in various continuous improvement and TPM efforts.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School Diploma or GED and 1+ years of experience working in a quality, food manufacturing, lab or related environment OR a 2 + year degree in Food Science, Chemistry or a related field.
