Position Summary:

Zoetis is seeking a candidate that will provide support for its Diagnostic Connectivity ecosystem, specifically in the areas of connectivity and integration with third party Practice Management Systems (PIMS). The ecosystem is comprised of diagnostic instruments, connectivity hub devices, LAN infrastructure and Internet connectivity. The Digital Products team is part of a fast-growing Digital Data and Analytics (DDA) team within the Zoetis Tech and Digital (ZTD) organization.

In this position the Associate will work closely with the PIMS Connectivity Team (Developers, Product Owners, Testers, Architects, etc.) and the 3rd party PIMS development teams, to ensure the success of each new integration and the improvement of our PIMS Connectivity solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist third party PIMS development teams during their integration with our APIs and solutions (kick-off meetings, technical assistance, and technical reviews)
  • Coordination of PIMS integration with the Business Team (timeline, feedback)
  • Coordination with regional markets (meetings, identification of needs and pain points)
  • Participate in the definition of requirements and backlog of our PIMS integration suite of products
  • Gather technical context information to help writing requirements for connectivity with a specific solution
  • Train Customer Support and Business Teams for our PIMS Connectivity products
  • Participate in the production of our technical documentation

Experience:

  • 3+ years in Software Development
  • 1+ years in Functional Analysis or Technical Support
  • Experience throughout the complete Software Development Life Cycle
  • Experience working with worldwide third-party teams and vendors

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Think proactively and demonstrate a strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
  • Work on multiple projects simultaneously and adjust to changing priorities; demonstrated organizational, analytical, prioritization, and time management skills
  • Interface with different stakeholders in a multidisciplinary team (technical, business, support) in multiple locations worldwide
  • Ability to professionally communicate with all personnel at whatever knowledge and skill level (business, support, operations, R&D, SW development)
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills required; must be able to generate organized, clean, useful documentation according to company and industry standards
  • Familiarity of Vet/Human Practice Management System is a plus

Technical Requirements:

  • Mobile and web technologies (REST APIs, Web applications, Cloud AWS/Azure, Databases)
  • Version control, issue tracking and documentation tools (especially JIRA, Confluence)
