The Zoetis Tech and Digital (ZTD) US Commercial Operations Business Partnership organization is focused on bringing together best-in-class applications and partners to deliver value for Zoetis, our Customers and Pet Owners, and we’re looking for an intern!

The ZTD US Commercial Operations Business Partnership Intern will have an opportunity to play an important role to deliver long-term business outcomes for Zoetis, gain experience in understanding, communicating, and delivering best-in-class capabilities Zoetis, and help bring the wider ZTD organization on the journey.

Opportunities include:

  • Supporting our Digital Experience team as we build a new headless architecture, encompassing all our “Digital” customer journeys
  • Learn about our customer service organizations priorities and challenges, helping to deliver an improved ‘self-service’ capability for all our customers
  • Partner with our US Petcare Business partnership team as we develop new and innovative ways to understand Pet Owners and their priorities
  • Support the Commercial Domain Architect in communicating the future state to our wider ZTD organization, playing a role in the Enterprise Architecture Review process
  • Plan and execute on a monthly strategic partnership relationship (for example, Salesforce)
  • Support the Commercial Digital Products team in developing a multi-year roadmap for a key strategic product (for example, with our Pork, Poultry or Cattle Business Units)

Responsibilities:

  • Support the identification, screening, and evaluation of new solution opportunities to address unmet (internal and external) customer needs
  • Partner with key team members to create strategic business plans
  • Create and analyze relevant information and develop recommendations to present to senior management
  • Collaborate with management to develop monthly Strategic Partnership meetings
  • Develop solution concepts and business cases for new investments
  • Perform business analysis and prepare recommendations and business plans as needed
  • Collaborate with the Project Management Office on the intake process and prioritization of candidate projects across the company

Education and Experience:

  • Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field
  • 0-1+ years of prior intern experience

Knowledge, Skills, Ability Requirements:

  • Industry/Business Knowledge – Should demonstrate desire understand issues and trends facing the Animal Health industry
  • Tech-Savvy – Should be able to speak intelligently on the advantages and disadvantages of a broad range of technologies and services provided
  • Soft Skills:
    • Communication Skills: Must be able to communicate effectively to be able to participate in business discussions and planning sessions
    • Relationship Management: Should maintain a strong positive relationship with the business
  • Must be highly motivated and committed to achieving results and have a strong sense of ownership and follow-through to resolution
