Summary:

The Zoetis ERP Delivery functions are a part of the Zoetis Tech and Digital (ZTD) organization and are responsible for the delivery of SAP projects and enhancements for Enterprise ERP and related application solutions based primarily based on the SAP technology platform.

This role is responsible for all Manufacturing, Plant Maintenance, and Quality system ERP solutions implemented at Zoetis and will report to the IT Director of Planning, Manufacturing & Logistics in ZTD.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as internal consultant for Manufacturing, Quality, and Plant Maintenance. Work with peers in the ZTD organization and business representatives to determine business process and solution design leveraging the capabilities of the SAP modules.
  • Lead delivery of projects impacting the Manufacturing, Quality, and Plant Maintenance areas
  • Support the identification of opportunities to standardize processes and system configuration globally and ensure compliance to these standards
  • Collaborate with representatives of other SAP functions to ensure end to end process integration and consistency
  • Develop, prototype, test and implement SAP ECC PP-PI & QM solution enhancements
  • Lead and support project initiatives to expand the usage of the SAP solution to improve processes at manufacturing sites
  • Review and analyze solution enhancement requests to determine complexity and provide resource/cost estimates
  • Knowledge transfer to Production Support at conclusion on enhancement delivery

  • Develop and manage project plans. Lead projects as required, as well as contribute as a team member to project teams
  • Provide input to long-term IT strategy necessary to achieve organizational objectives
  • Translate and influence business and functional solution requirements with Production Planning, Execution and Quality Management stakeholders

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Technical, Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business field required
  • 8-10+ years of SAP PP-PI, QM and Shop Floor Execution Systems experience with multiple full life cycle implementations
  • Demonstrated experience of various IT practices, including but not limited to, project management, operational service delivery, large project implementations
  • Experience in international environments with co-existence of global accounting and local statutory needs
  • Proven ability to quickly learn existing Business Processes and combine knowledge from multiple disciplines (e.g. SAP capability, Standard industry best practice) in order to produce an optimal business solution
  • Strategic Application of Information Systems and business analysis
  • Experience in life sciences / pharmaceuticals industry preferred
  • GMP experience including change and release management of PP-PI and quality objects such as recipe, BOM, inspection plan, sample management, workflow, and managing electronic records in SAP.
  • In-depth knowledge in configuration and functionality of end-to-end production execution cycle for order creation to technically completion.
  • ECC Planning in conjunction with active unit pharma planning, batch balancing etc.
  • Extensive experience in all life cycle of Breakdown preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance process, processing external services and refurbishing tasks with SAP service management integration, calibrations, single cycle and strategy plan.
  • Extensive experience on Vesta for plant maintenance calibration.

Technical/Functional Competencies:

Extensive experience with configuration of SAP ECC 6.0, PP-PI and PM modules in several or all of the following areas:

  • MRP and Detailed Scheduling
  • Make-To Stock Production Process Industry
  • Make-To Stock Production Discrete Industry
  • Make-To Order and Assemble-To Order production
  • Repetitive Manufacturing
  • Product Subcontracting
  • Shop Floor Controls and Capacity Planning
  • Quality Planning, Inspection, Certification and Quality Notifications
  • Quality Control and Audit Management
  • S4/HANA experience for Production Planning (PP) and Plant Maintenance (PM) strongly preferred.
  • Interfaces: WM-IM, WM-QM, FI, SD, SCM, BI, MES and LIMS Applications
  • HP ALM quality tool for configuring and testing objects
