Position Summary:

The Zoetis ERP Delivery functions are a part of the Zoetis Tech and Digital (ZTD) organization. The ERP Delivery functions are responsible for the delivery of Zoetis SAP projects and enhancements for Enterprise ERP and related application solutions based primarily based on the SAP technology platform.

The ERP Delivery System Lead – Manufacturing (SAP PP) is responsible for all Production Planning, Manufacturing, Lab Information Management System ERP system solutions implemented at Zoetis and have strong experience with SAP Quality Management. This resource will report to the Sr. Manager – Global Supply Chain Planning & Manufacturing in ZTD.

Responsibilities:

  • SAP Solution Architect / Functional Designer with a primary focus on SAP Production Planning related solutions and a secondary focus on
  • Lead Subject Matter Expert in the SAP Production Planning module of SAP
  • Lead new project and enhancement demand fulfilment along with end user engagement in Manufacturing (SAP PP) and its integration with other SAP modules
  • Requirements gathering and estimation for SAP Project requests
  • Perform thorough analysis to identify all potential impacts for project/enhancement requests
  • Hands on design, configuration, and testing of SAP PP solutions
  • Subject Matter Expert in the Quality Management module of SAP
  • Support, when necessary lead, new project, and enhancement demand fulfilment along with end user engagement in Quality Management (SAP QM) and its integration with other SAP modules
  • Support, when necessary lead, integration of QM interfaces with third party applications
  • Hands on design, configuration, and testing of SAP QM solutions
  • Project related support of SAP PP/MRP/MPS integration with APO SNP/RCCP/PPDS modules
  • Work with peers in the ZTD organization and business representatives to determine business process and solution design leveraging the capabilities of the SAP modules and cross modules integration
  • Collaborate with representatives of other SAP functions to ensure end to end process integration and consistency
  • Coaching/training others to bring them up to speed quickly and making them productive members of the functional team
  • May manage colleagues and/or contractors

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Technical, Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering or Business field required

Experience:

  • 8+ years of SAP PP delivery & configuration experience with multiple full life cycle implementations
  • Functional/Technical proficiency with at least 3 full lifecycle SAP implementation and 2 years of industry (PP/QM domain preferable) and/or consulting experience
  • Experience with implementation in the pharmaceutical, life science business and knowledge of the GxP is a big plus
  • S4/Hana Experience for Manufacturing and Quality Solutions preferred
  • Hands-on design, configuration and implementation knowledge of SAP PP/QM/DM and workflow management in a global landscape
  • Extensive experience of Custom Developments/enhancements and interfaces
  • Experience with SAP interface with LIMS applications
  • Strong knowledge in QM - both functional and technical in areas like Quality Inspections, Notifications, Batch Management, Equipment calibration, Physical samples, Multiple specification, Stability analysis, CofA, Workflow management, apart from all basic QM functionalities in SAP with respect to QM in production, procurement, and sales
  • Strong knowledge of SAP ECC QM Integration points with MM, PP, SD, WM and other modules
  • Excellent knowledge of ECC Planning functions integration with APO modules. Experience with APO RCCP / PPDS functionality
  • Knowledge on business process for end-to-end solution for product labeling, artwork and packaging using SAP notifications and Document info records with interface with external document repository systems
  • Good hands-on knowledge of SAP DMS, SAP workflow and SAP PP knowledge with material master, BOM and recipes
  • Self-starter able to own and end-to-end solution delivery
  • Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience of interface with external systems for data transfers and reporting
  • Ability to work independently, effectively coordinating multiple priorities in a dynamic and changing environment and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Experience in international environments with co-existence of global accounting and local statutory needs
  • Extensive experience in several of the following areas:
