Ensure personal compliance with Alltech Quality Management System and all applicable safety and environmental requirements / regulations/ guidelines.

Ensure personal compliance with Alltech safety guidelines and standards.

Assists or performs routine procedures following written instructions (SOP’s, protocols, etc.) in support of manufacturing product to meet quality requirements.

Ability to operate and support manufacturing and packaging line to include interface with network PLC and automation.

Operates manual, semi-automated and automated equipment used in production to include bulk ingredient hoist(s), conveyors, ingredient mixers, bagging equipment, and robotic palletizer.

Troubleshoots equipment and manufacturing process.

Prior to shift start-up, during processing, and at the completion of the manufacturing process shift, performs all clerical functions to provide the proper accountability and traceability of components of finished product.

Maintains and cleans manufacturing areas, equipment, and materials as required by Alltech procedures.

Collects in-process samples in support of manufacturing processes.

Compliance with safety procedures including lock-out tag-out, confined space entry with proper permission.

Responsible for compliance with existing work instructions and development of new instructions.

Performs material handling tasks to transport, load and unload materials to and from work areas.

Requires ability to run, maneuver, navigate, or drive mechanized equipment, including lift trucks, hand trucks, and pallet jacks.

Requires good mechanical aptitude.

Requires detail orientation, initiative to work in fast-paced, changing environment.

Requires flexible can-do attitude, and strong work ethic.
