Responsibilities The Human Resources Coordinator role requires skills and competencies in:
  • Communication – demonstrating exceptional competence in oral and written communication.
  • Planning and organization – being skilled in determining priorities and actions to meet them and being able to adjust as needs change.
  • Information management – collecting, analyzing, and appropriately handling sensitive and confidential information.
  • Data entry – ensuring accuracy and timeliness of data collection and entry.
  • Problem solving – being able to critically analyze issues, identify root causes, and create meaningful solutions.
  • Customer Service – treating every person and every interaction as essential and important.
  • Teamwork – engaging with the rest of the Culture and Talent team in a way that increases collaboration and team effectiveness.
  • Resiliency – responding to challenges, uncertainty, and priority shifts with poise and purpose.
Alltech’s Human Resources Coordinator will contribute by:
  • Assisting in the recruiting process with background checks, drug screens, and new hire processing.
  • Completing verifications of employment requests; verifying I-9 documentation and maintaining current employee files.
  • Performing all new hire orientations.
  • Answering team member questions and/or concerns about benefits and other HR matters.
  • Entering data into HRIS system, including new hires, benefits, and changes.
  • Providing clerical support such as filing, copying, scanning, data entry, and correspondence.
  • Administering time and attendance in the HRIS system.
  • Creating and running various reports from our payroll/HRIS system.
  • Following policies and procedures, and reporting needed changes.
  • Maintaining employee confidence and protecting payroll operations by keeping information confidential.
  • Other Payroll and/or HR related administrative tasks as needed.
