(Archived) Indirect Sales Analyst/Data Entry Associate
Job Description
MAJOR PURPOSE
This role is responsible for the accurate processing of all indirect sales transactions in support of our valued Zoetis customers. This includes sales information sent via electronic data interface (EDI), Excel Files and manual data entry of invoices received for rebate payments. We are looking for highly motivated candidates with a strong work ethic, attention to detail and strong communications skills. Past data entry experience and accuracy of processing required.
PRINCIPAL JOB DUTIES (Describe key job responsibilities required to fulfill the major purpose of the job.)
- Support all transactional processes related to indirect sales data, including EDI, File Imports, Vetstreet and Manual Data entry.
- Monitor daily transmission of all incoming electronic data interchange (EDI) sales feeds and conduct transactional analysis to troubleshoot reported file discrepancies.
- Partner with Zoetis customers and EDI clearinghouse (DXC) to resolve suspended data, conversion errors, incompatibilities, and submission delays.
- Identify EDI problem trends and implements permanent solutions for recurring issues.
- Support shared Outlook mailboxes; research and respond to sales data inquiries from customers and the field force in a timely manner.
- Create and maintain a variety of data maps which include: AHN Database, Distributor Cross Reference tables and Reported Price Variances.
- Data Entry – Accurately process & review high volumes of indirect invoice data for the facilitation of rebate calculations.
- Provide support and special handling of our key CARE accounts.
- Perform customer data and related supplier maintenance.
- Assist with preparing and reviewing customer rebate statements for mailing.
- Demonstrate a teamwork mentality in support of all indirect sales team responsibilities.
- Ensure data integrity and SOX compliance.
Required Job related candidate qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills)
- Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred or 2 years of experience in professional workplace.
- Minimum 1 year experience in a customer-oriented, database management or comparable position.
- Strong data entry proficiency and organizational skills.
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office –Excel skills required.
- Demonstrated strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Strong customer service commitment is critical to this role.
