Position Summary:

The Director of SAP R2R and Financial Processes is a key member of the Zoetis Tech & Digital (ZTD) ERP Delivery Team and reports directly to the Senior Director, Global ERP. This position will lead a team responsible for building and deploying SAP and other applications that supports R2R and financial processes. This position works closely with IT Business partner and Business leaders, understands short- and long-term business goals, collaborates on plans to achieve those goals by delivering leading-edge SAP application platform. An expert in delivering major system and business change through driving standardized process solutions, the successful candidate will have proven success in adopting new and best practice models, solutions and guide the business teams and implementation partners toward delivering and adopting standard solutions.

Responsibilities:

As Leader of the Financial process team within the ERP Delivery, this position will be focused on:

  • Provide the leadership for overall solution strategy, planning and delivery for all Finance areas of the company related to SAP platform
  • Collaborate with IT business partners and business functions to lead and coordinate key initiatives to enhance the company’s financial systems
  • Drive the overall sustainment and prioritization process for SAP and other financial systems
  • Delivery of DTAP ERP Initiatives on value, time and budget. Establish process for portfolio review with IT Business partner and actively manage required trade-offs.
  • Identify opportunities to foster global standardization and consistency
  • In collaboration with other ERP leads, develop a short, medium, and long-term roadmap for our SAP platform including the move to S4 HANA
  • Manage the ongoing evolution of the team needed to successfully manage the business in its current construct and to grow in support of business needs
  • Work with our AMS Provider to ensure timely management of issues and new demand
  • Managing and leading a team of Zoetis colleagues (Solution architects, Business Analyst) and AMS provider members
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business, Computer Science or other related area is required
  • CPA and/or MBA is preferred
  • Minimum of 12-15+ years of experiences and following expertise:
  • Domain Expertise in Financial Performance
    • Corporate Finance; Corporate Tax; Financial Planning &Analysis; Budgeting
    • Banking; Treasury; Finance; Leasing; Asset Conversion; Revenue Recognition; Collections
    • Indirect Procurement; Accounts Payable; Vendor Invoice Management
    • Consolidations; Balance Sheet Reconciliations; P&L Reporting; Month/Quarter/Year-End
  • Deep knowledge and experience with SAP FI CO, including General Ledger, Cost Accounting, Product Costing, Material Ledger Profitability Analysis, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Tax, and Financial Close Management
  • Experience with S4 HANA is preferred
  • Experience with dealing with key integration areas in Sales and Distribution, Procurement, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing
  • This position requires exceptional collaboration, teamwork, negotiation, influence, and relationship building skills at all levels with internal and external parties in alignment with our key values
  • Proven successful experience with people mentoring, and capability growth
  • Demonstrated written, verbal and interpersonal skills to confidently communicate information, ideas, procedures, and processes to audiences ranging from direct reports to executive leadership.
