Description

The Alltech® Feed Division is among the leading commercial animal nutrition companies in North America. We employ nearly 800 people in the areas of manufacturing, sales, and marketing. We offer a full range of animal nutrition products designed to meet the diverse needs of modern livestock and companion animals, including complete feeds, premixes, feed supplements, block supplements, animal health products, and feed ingredients. We have an immediate opening for a Customer Service Manager at our regional office in Mankato, MN.

Responsibilities

The Customer Service Manager will be responsible for leading the customer experience department, driving results and productivity through effective management, communication, and people leadership and development. In this position, the individual will work closely with the leadership team to communicate vision and will help deliver stellar customer service results. This role will plan and manage the daily operations of team members to meet the needs of the customer while supporting department and company financial/operational goals and objectives.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Coach, counsel, and develop associates to achieve departmental goals and promote excellent customer service
  • Ensure customer needs are met and high-quality service is delivered
  • Maintain and monitor performance, productivity, attendance, performance evaluations, and continual appraisals of staff
  • Monitor overall workflow and make adjustments or process improvements to achieve service level goals
  • Lead cross functional work teams focused on identifying service issue root causes and implement corrective action plans to provide sustainable service improvements that meet/exceed customer expectations
  • Prepare, review, and analyze various operational reports, such as departmental key performance reports or individual management performance reports
  • Support new objectives and initiatives as identified by the company
Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 8 years of customer service leadership/management

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Ability to learn and operate company-specific software
