Job Description

Principal Job Duties

Establishing and Maintaining Customer Master Data:

  • Responsible for establishing address codes for direct and indirect customers within the order to cash and reporting system per standard operating procedures.
  • Primary contact for operational tasks including but not limited to: responding to daily email requests, creating payment terms, licensing, and running SAP audits checks
  • Responsible for all ongoing maintenance (changes and deletions) of established accounts within order to cash per standard operating procedures, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of all customer information
  • Maintain proactive role in investigating licensing and financial responsibility status of parties listed on existing customer accounts. Contact customers to update registration information as needed for state, DEA, and veterinary licenses
  • Assure schedule drugs order activities are in compliance with DEA regulations. Release DEA and conditionally licensed state hold orders once all guidelines have been met and documented
  • Ensure financial information including but not limited to tax, tax exemption status, credit card and bank data is up to date and accurate on new and existing customer accounts
  • Accurately review and reconcile customer statements and invoices for escalated issues with payment history and balances
  • Assist corporate tax group with state audits and contact customers to update tax registration information as needed in the Tax Certificate system
  • Assist with all Master Data audits as needed
  • Assist in creating and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and supporting documents to initiate procedures for all ECC and GTS requirements
  • Document and communicate business process changes to stakeholders and vendors
  • Recommend, investigate, design and implement new procedural solutions to improve any operational areas of focus
  • Assist in cross functional projects including integrations, acquisitions and business transformation projects for both direct and indirect customers
  • Participate in meetings with ZTD to review pending enhancements to the customer master tools
  • Coordinate testing with ZTD for SAP enhancements, user acceptance testing for fixes, and data validation for mass uploads
  • Demonstrate Zoetis leader behaviors and act as a team player in support of all operational responsibilities

Qualifications:

  • Associate or bachelor's degree preferred. High School diploma required
  • Minimum of 2 years Customer Service experience preferred
  • 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM EST shift specifically; ability to work other shifts (earlier/later) as needed
  • Knowledge and experience with SAP order to cash system functionality
  • Audit support experience
  • SAP and related systems expertise
  • Intermediate/advanced MS Office skills, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Phone system and Internet applications expertise
  • Analytical and organizational skills, along with attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
  • Time management skills, innovative skills, ability to speak and present customer master specific information to a wide audience, established understanding of internal and external applications.
  • Verbal and written communication and problem-solving skills
