Job Description

The Future Talent Program features internships that lasts up to 12 weeks and will include one or more projects. These opportunities in our Animal Health can provide you with great development and a chance to see if we are the right company for your long-term goals.

Our Company Animal Health is seeking a summer intern to provide support to the livestock business (cattle, swine and poultry). This role will provide exposure to and involvement in several facets of the U.S. livestock business, including marketing operations, finance and business analytics. The intern will assist with research, data analysis, finance projects, and rebate program effectiveness initiatives in a fast-paced, real-world environment

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform research and data analysis in support of the livestock commercial operations

  • Assist in resolving business issues using systems and data

  • Assist with finance projects, as needed

  • Provide support for rebate program development

Skills

  • Self-starter and able to handle multiple tasks and priorities in a matrix organization

  • Strong analytical skills and solid understanding of business/finance principles

  • Ability to communicate effectively

  • Ability to work independently and within a team and help solve business problems

  • An innovative spirit, can-do attitude and strong sense of customer service

Educational Requirements:

  • Must be enrolled in a Bachelors program and must have completed at least 2 years of education majoring in Business, Finance or related fields.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of products: Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
