Description Responsibilities

Plan and route transportation of goods via air, ocean, and ground.

• Implementation, maintenance, and negotiation of contracts with freight forwarders

Identify and communicate current or future transportation issues, as well as recovery plans

• Initiate required action for responding to customer service requests for order changes, including the maintenance of order/customer information files and communicate changes to the appropriate personnel/departments

• Ensure and provide quality service to customers through on-time, clear communication, NCR closure follow-up, order follow-ups and dispatch confirmations.

• Interact with multiple departments to ensure all requirements for inventory, quality, and regulatory concerns are met

• Receive, process, and verify the accuracy of customer purchase orders

• Prepare quotations, maintain customer and product pricing.

• Prepare necessary export documents

• Maintain sales records and prepare periodic reports

• Develop, implement, and maintain KPIs and continual improvement processes relating to costs, service, and efficiency


• Experience in export logistics and compliance, including HTS, duties and tariffs, and INCOTERMS

• Experience in HAZMAT regulations (DOT, IMDG, IATA) preferred

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Excel, Power BI)

• Analytically oriented

• Ability to effectively communicate with senior managers and build strong working relationships, as well as function under minimal supervision

• Time management skills with the ability to handle a multi-project workload with competing priorities across different business units

• Highly motivated team player who is seeking a fast paced, challenging environment that requires a minimal supervision and a high level of independent judgment with a strong attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Logistics or related, or equivalent experience

• Experience in international commerce/logistics/compliance: 2+ years
