Job Requirements

  • Proven marketing experience in animal health/medical imaging; with a preference for veterinary product/service launches, advertising management, sales tool development, digital marketing, conference management, and customer collaboration projects

  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to multi-task and communicate status efficiently at the executive level

  • Detail-oriented professional with an eye for high-quality design and customer perspective

  • Resourceful with the ability to solve problems across organizational boundaries and operate independently in a small company environment

  • Excellent communications skills with all levels in the organization and with customers

  • Bachelor or higher degree in Business with an emphasis in Marketing or related experience

  • 7+ years in human and/or animal health marketing; strong digital marketing focus

  • Experience in or around veterinary practices and/or animal hospitals

  • Customer relationship management (CRM) implementation and use

  • Strong aptitude with Microsoft Office suite

  • Ideally located in Central or Eastern time zone to maximize overlap with the U.K.

Job Description

  • This U.S.-based position is part of the Global Marketing Team coordinating with Hallmarq’s head office in the U.K., regional sales teams and external agencies

  • This role reports to the company’s U.S.-based Chief Marketing Officer

  • Primarily responsible for developing and executing Marketing Programs to help drive growth for North America and targeted U.K./European regions per the Global Marketing Strategy. This includes but not limited to;

    • Account-based marketing – collaborate with customers to create and execute marketing programs to support their local success; design/build standardized global marketing kits

    • Global advertising and PR execution – optimize and execute print advertising plan as part of an integrated marketing approach and in coordination with PR strategy

    • North American conference and user meeting management – work with U.K.-based Marketing Coordinator to manage conferences and clinical users’ meetings by determining best sponsorship level, leveraging customer speakers, planning social media, preparing sales, communicating dates and logistics, measuring impact (leads+) and executing on budget

    • New product/service launches and existing product/ lifecycle promotions - support global and regional launches and campaigns, including sales tool development, to maximize awareness and generate leads

    • Digital marketing – work with U.K.-based Marketing Coordinator to plan and execute a digital marketing plan to drive a larger presence and build the brand for Hallmarq; digital ads, social media, website updates to generate and support leads

    • Requires approximately 25% North America and occasional International travel
