The Animal Health Jobs Difference
www.animalhealthjobs.com is not just another job board. Our primary charter is to supply you with pre-screened - qualified candidates that meet the animal health industries standards. Every job seeker's credentials are reviewed before they may register with our recruiting web site. Therefore we do the first stage of the selection process for you by eliminating many non-qualified job seekers. You may also use AHJ as an open job board for all job seekers.
Option One - Prescreened Direct Email
All job seekers must register with our web site and be approved to apply for jobs. You set up an email address for applications. You receive a standard industry questionnaire and the job seeker's resume. Job postings are stored under your account on our web site. All applicants to the job posting are captured under each posting for your review and later use. This builds a reservoir of interested job seekers.
Option Two - Prescreened Permanent Link
As with the email method above, you select a permanent link to your web site or even it's career section. You will only be forwarded prescreened job seekers. Postings are stored in your account, but not applicants.
Option Three - Open To All Job Seekers
You insert in the body of your job posting a link to your web site, email address, or an exact link to the job posting within your web site. This allows all interested parties to apply, Postings are stored in your account. If your web site is secure (https:), the job seeker copies the link into their browser and follows it to the job posting on the employer's site.
AHJ's Extended Job Posting National Exposure
Unlike other sites that post jobs for only 30 or 60 days, AHJ posts for 90 days - more and longer exposure. We do this because many animal health jobs require degrees or experience in specialized disciplines, so candidates can take longer to find. We also update our postings on connected job search engines at 30 and 60 days, This brings them back to the top of the search list for extended visibility versus other recruiting options.
AHJ'S Geographic Targeting
When a sales job is posted on AHJ, you may chose up to three cities within the sales territory. This greatly enhances the number of referrals from the major job search engines because a different posting is generated for each city chosen.

The Growth of Animal Health Jobs
Animal Health Jobs was started 7 years ago and was redesigned 4 years ago to include new system enhancements. The graph above shows our growth on a weekly basis since we started tracking statistics with Google Analytics. Much of this traffic growth is attributable to our expanded exposure on the web, increasing job postings, and over the last year and half an upturn in industry recruiting. We now have over 18,000 qualified job seekers registered on our web site. In August 2010 AHJ had 22,807 visits - a new all time record. The web site reached near that record at 22,241 visits for June 2011. Traffic consistently generates 47% returning and 53% first time visitors. First time visitors directly contribute to growing our base.
House Ad Program
In December 2011 we started a new program where we are running House Ads that simply invite qualified job seekers to register with our site so their credentials can be seen by our Brakke Recruiting Staff. Primarily the ads have been targeted at DVM's or higher and experienced Animal Health Sales and Management background. The ads rotate in 5 selected territories around the country chosing various city locations. This effort generally increases our traffic by 20% or more for new visitors. This is broadening our Branding on the web and benefits those companies that advertise on www.animalhealthjobs.com .
AHJ also offers Employer Resume Search
As long as an employer has an active job posting or a pre-bought job with AHJ, they may use our resume search system. You can organize selected job seekers into individual portfolios for storage. Then when you are ready to select job seekers for contact, you pay by purchasing in ranges listed below.
Employer Registration and Recognition
When you are ready to post jobs on our site you fill out a registration which establishes your account. A company profile section is provided where you enter your company name, web siteaddres and a brief write up. This information isaccessible for public view in our "Registered Employers" section on our home page. Job seekers may review listed companies and open a profile for information. If you have active job postings they will be displayed below your profile.
Fee Schedule for Resume Searches
Up to 25 contacts………$375 (cost for 1 job)
26 to 50 contacts………$721 (cost for 2 jobs)
51 to 75 contacts……..$1068 (cost for 3 jobs)
76 to 100 contacts…….$1352 (cost for 4 jobs)
A paid search lasts for one week. Our contact system is handled on a confidential basis for the job seeker. You will not see their name and contact information until they respond favorably to your contact request. If they want contact, we then release their information to you by email. Some job seekers may chose to make their resume private. In this case you will only see their questionnaire.
AHJ Indexing to job search engines
Job postings entered on our web site are automatically indexed to Indeed, SimplyHired and five other smaller sites on a daily basis. When a territory job posting has more than one city listed this creates a separate job posting for each city chosen on the search engine web site. Also a nationwide listing is created which is useful when a job seeker is using a broad key word search.
